/Year

A disability rights learning, advocacy, and community space where people with disabilities take center stage.

Not on the sidelines.

Not in the background.

WE ARE THE HEADLINERS.

The Disability Power Arena brings together people with disabilities, parents of children with disabilities, and true allies to build knowledge, advocacy skills, confidence, and community in a space that is powerful, practical, creative, and real.

WHY I CREATED THE ARENA

After nearly 20 years working in disability rights and international human rights law, I kept seeing the same problem over and over again:

People with disabilities and parents are often expected to navigate complicated systems without clear information, practical advocacy tools, or meaningful community support.

Too many people are overwhelmed by:

• disability systems

• misinformation

• inaccessible explanations of disability rights

• advocacy burnout

• isolation

• and the feeling that they have to figure everything out alone

I created the Disability Power Arena to help change that.

The Arena is designed to be a space for learning, advocacy, conversation, confidence-building, and community. A space where disability rights are explained in a practical and understandable way while also creating room for real conversations about everyday life, culture, accessibility, systems, representation, and power.

WHAT IS THE DISABILITY POWER ARENA?
