What is Restorative Fascial Therapy (RFT)?
Restorative Fascial Therapy is a whole-body, hands-on approach to help identify and address fascial tension patterns that may influence movement, posture, breathing, oral function, nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing.
Participants will learn to identify the signs and symptoms of tension throughout the body (from babies through adults) and develop a practical, body-led approach to supporting change through gentle, fascial unwinding techniques.
Join Dr. Alyssa Welch, PT, DPT for this 2-day RFT Foundations Training designed for healthcare providers and parents alike, bridging professional application and real world support for the body at every stage of life.

Why SLPs Are Interested in RFT
Many oral motor, feeding, airway, and tongue mobility challenges do not exist in isolation. Participants learn to recognize whole-body tension patterns that may influence jaw mobility, tongue resting posture/function, breathing mechanics, and overall regulation.
This training does not replace speech therapy or myofunctional therapy. Instead, it provides an additional lens for understanding how fascial restrictions throughout the body may contribute to the challenges clinicians are already seeing.
