For years, I have worked at the highest levels of PR — shaping stories for global names. But the deepest lessons I’ve learned didn’t come from boardrooms or celebrities. They came from wild mustangs.
When I adopted my first wild horse, Pinzon, everything shifted. He showed me what it meant to be calm yet alive, present yet free. My search to understand why horses are so often called “healers” led me to Dr. Rebecca Bailey, Jaycee Dugard, and Margie McDonald, the incredible founders of the Polyvagal Equine Institute (PVEI). Their work, rooted in Polyvagal Theory gave me the science behind what I was living with my herd.
This guide is the beginning of me sharing those lessons with you.
