My beginner recommendation: Start with a basic medium-weight #4 yarn and an H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook. Then play around with how you hold your yarn and hook until it feels natural—there is no single “perfect” way!

This guide is perfect for anyone who has never crocheted before, has tried and felt confused, or wants a simple resource to keep beside them while practicing.

Download your copy, grab your yarn and hook, and let’s start stitching! 💜
