Marriage-Based Green Card Self-File Guide

Marriage-Based Green Card Self-File Guide

$150

Instant digital download • PDF format

This is the guide every self-filer should have before getting started.

Written by a licensed Arizona immigration attorney with 10+ years of practice, the VisaForLove Self-File Guide is not a generic form checklist. It is a complete, professional-grade roadmap for couples preparing a marriage-based green card adjustment of status filing on their own.

What makes this guide different:

Every section reflects the practical knowledge and professional standards an immigration attorney brings to this process. That means plain-language explanations of each form, a case screener that helps you determine upfront whether your case is appropriate for self-filing, and a bona fide marriage evidence guide that goes far beyond the basic instructions on uscis.gov in helping you understand what strong evidence actually looks like.

This guide includes:

  • A case screener to confirm eligibility and flag situations that may require attorney review

  • A clear explanation of every required form, including what it does, who signs it, and why it matters, and direct links so you can easily locate the correct USCIS forms

  • A complete, itemized supporting document checklist organized form by form

  • A comprehensive bona fide marriage evidence guide covering 12 categories of proof

  • Exact packet assembly order to help prevent avoidable rejection issues

  • Filing fee guidance and payment instructions

  • Post-filing guidance through receipts, biometrics, processing, and the green card interview

  • 40+ interview practice questions to help both spouses prepare

  • Ready-to-use templates, including a cover letter, personal statement, third-party affidavit, and exhibit dividers

  • Guidance on key issues, including the 90-day presumption, travel restrictions, unlawful status, and more

M.A.

This was our first time going through the immigration process, and we had absolutely no prior experience with any of it. This guide made the entire process so much easier to understand, especially the forms and what USCIS was actually asking from us. Everything is explained clearly and in so much detail that we were able to find an answer to every question that came up along the way. We honestly used every section of the guide, but the checklist and the instructions for assembling and organizing the final packet were especially helpful. It gave us so much more confidence that we were preparing everything correctly and not overlooking something important. I would absolutely recommend this guide to anyone planning to self-file their marriage-based green card application.
