Does your voice crack on the high notes? Do you run out of air before the end of the song?
That is not a lack of talent. It is a voice that needs training.
Singing songs isn't vocal training. You can sing the same song again and again and still hit the same problem on the same note.
The Daily Voice Workout is an 18 minute audio you sing along to. Press play and I take you through it, step by step. It is the exact routine I use before I sing or teach, and I've taught thousands of female singers over the last two decades. 1,700+ sold.
"It's a brilliant vocal tool. I really do feel like it's making a difference to my breathing, my range and strength which in turn gives me more confidence in my singing..." Deb Williams
What it trains
Breath that lasts to the end of the phrase
A stronger, steadier top register
Fewer cracks and wobbles
A voice you trust when it is your turn to sing
Perfect if you...
feel tight on high notes
crack or wobble when it matters
lose stamina halfway through songs
want to develop your mix voice, how you bridge your chest and head voice
want your voice ready before choir, rehearsal, lessons or a performance
want to feel more confident when you sing
Every level is welcome
Whether you are new to singing, in a choir, in musical theatre or singing for the joy of it, this is for you. It is the foundation of a stronger voice. If the pace feels quick the first time, pause it whenever you need to and pick it up again.
Do it in the car, in the kitchen, before choir or before a rehearsal. On your own or with your group. 18 minutes.
What women say.
"I used your warm-up before doing my singing exam this week and got a distinction"
"After using your warm-up for the last 2 weeks or so, I had an audition today and the musical director ... said 'I didn't know you could belt like that!'"
"I have used the warm-up MP3 twice whilst walking and have felt more confident when singing and noticed that I am hitting more correct notes"
"I especially love your motivational words at the end of the practice. I CAN do this."
Voice Type
This workout develops the full female voice. Some exercises move into the upper range to strengthen your mix and head voice. If you're an alto, you may feel these more. That's completely normal and helps extend your voice over time.
You don't need to match my pitch exactly. Simply adjust slightly within your comfortable range and keep the exercise going.
