    A monthly afternoon in nature - 2nd Saturday 3pm.
    Time outdoors, guided conversation following MEE 1st framework designed to raise awareness and stretch your perception of self, alongside movement and simple energy practices. Expand monthly themes.

    Monthly online session - last Wednesday 7pm.
    Simple movement and energy tools you can use in everyday life. Show-up as you are, where you are.

Don't men lose their way in life? Or do we just not notice, or assume that what is happening now is 'normal'? A couple of years ago, I realised I wasn't the person I used to be. I didn't like the person I had become. There were two very clear indications. I used to paint and draw. I hadn't done anything for years. I also used to be the kind of person who would get up and dance at parties. The last time I danced was at a company Christmas do, in the early 2000's. I had lost my mojo, my sense of fun. Life can do that to you. My wife and I got married later in life, second time for both of us. Then we lost her dad. He was in his nineties, had been a prisoner of war in Burma - yes, working on that railway. He later had a brain tumour, survived, but I never knew him out of a wheelchair. After a few years, we lost our dog, then Kate's mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer, so we went to stay with her to help her recover from the op. By the summer we knew she had secondaries and was terminal, and we lost her October that year. We started staying with her in April, and stayed with her right through to the end, so she could stay in the home she loved. In May that year my wife, her daughter, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Kate's since been through 3 more bouts of cancer and survived, but we've since lost both my dad and mum. So how has Vanessa helped? I had tried various forms of counselling and therapy, but none showed me any track I could follow, let alone put me on the right one. Over the last two years, Vanessa has taught me so many methods and techniques to help my feelings, which all impact the way I am with others. Some I have adopted, others I want to refresh and start using. The underlying message - who you are now doesn't have to be who you want to be. It is in your gift to explore and change. But nobody is going to do it for you. Vanessa has been my constant guide and supporter through these changes, and I would like to think they are for the better. I have already had a few mornings waking up the way I used to feel, about myself and the day ahead. Earlier this year, I did my first pencil drawing for years, and I want to do more. I've started realising that my clothes were all the same, muted shades of everybody else - almost drab. So I've brought more colour back into my life. Yes, Vanessa, you can share a photo of that shirt! Vanessa does have a more spiritual approach to things, so how come she has managed to help a 65-year old cynical git of an engineer like me? It probably helps that her husband, Duncan, is also an engineer, so she's had to deal with our down-to-earth views at first hand! Can I recommend her to anyone? Absolutely. She has never pushed me in directions I don't want to go, though she does sometimes push me out of my comfort zone to try different ideas. The main thing is that things I thought about doing 'sometime' are now happening. Taking control of my own health, working towards retirement, bringing colour and fun back into my life and sharing my experiences with others. Thanks, Vanessa!

I can very easily get stuck in my head and cannot find my own way out. The shit keeps on coming and I feel overwhelmed. The coaching experience provided simple practical tools that I could apply in everyday life to change how I feel. The ‘walk and talk’ experience felt comfortable and non judgemental. I was able to process how I felt and came away from the sessions feeling lighter. Men need to realise the hole they are in, isn’t normal or healthy. I attended Vanessa’s "Wild and Free" day retreat a couple of weeks ago, and I must say it was a truly worthwhile experience. This was actually my second time attending one of her retreats (first one in September last year). Vanessa is brilliant at creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, which made it easy to open up and share our thoughts. Throughout the day, she facilitated a variety of engaging activities that challenged us to ask ourselves some meaningful questions. Despite touching on some serious topics, she managed to keep the day enjoyable and dynamic. We also had the opportunity to unwind with a session of deep relaxation and a also enjoyed a delicious meal together. Again, I came away from the retreat with a clearer idea of the direction I want to take in the coming months. I appreciate the time and effort Vanessa and her partner Duncan, put into creating such a valuable experience, and I’d certainly recommend her Blooming Unique Soul life coaching program to anyone who’s looking to gain some clarity or move forward in their life.

If you have to cancel your call, please email inspire@bloominguniquesoul.co.uk with the subject "CALL CANCELLATION- [date & time of your call]" no less than 48 hours before your call. If you do not show up to your call or reschedule within 48 hours, you forfeit your call.

  14. You agree to indemnify and hold the Company and each of its directors, officers employees, and agents, harmless from any and all liabilities, claims, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or relating to (i) your breach of this Agreement, (ii) any violation by you of law or the rights of any third party, (iii) any materials, information, works and/or other content of whatever nature or media that you post or share on or through the Site, (iv) your use of the Site or any services that the Company may provide via the Site, and (v) your conduct in connection with the Site or the services or with other users of the Site or the services. The Company reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense of any claim for which we are entitled to indemnification under this Section. In such an event, you shall provide the Company with such cooperation as is reasonably requested by the Company.
