The Priority Audit

The Priority Audit

Most agents have a production target. Very few have ever written down the thing that must survive the pursuit of it.

So it quietly gets spent. The dinners. Coaching your kid's team. The marriage. Your health. The Saturday that was supposed to be untouchable. Nobody decides to trade those away. They just go unnamed, and unnamed things are always the first things sacrificed.

The Priority Audit is a short, uncomfortable, genuinely useful exercise. In about twelve minutes you will:

  • Name your non-negotiable in one specific sentence

  • Measure the real gap between what you say matters and where your hours actually go

  • Score your business across 7 protection markers

  • Identify the three decisions creating the gap

  • Separate what is a personal discipline problem from what is a structural one

You will finish with one sentence written down: what you are building, and what you are not willing to spend to build it.

That sentence changes how you run your business.

I used to study real estate terms on a basement floor while my daughter served me tea in Minnie Mouse cups. I wasn't grinding. I was refusing to choose between the two. That refusal is the whole point of this exercise.
