Helping parents spot learning gaps & support their child's progress

The Homework Reset Bundle

The Homework Reset Bundle

£27

You sit down to help with homework. Ten minutes later, you are explaining it again, your child is getting frustrated and neither of you knows what to try next.

Or your teenager says they have revised, but with so many GCSE subjects to cover, you are unsure what they have actually understood or remembered.

The Homework Reset Bundle helps you work out where to start, what to ask and when to step back so your child can try for themselves. You do not need to remember every school topic to give useful support.

ONE BUNDLE FOR DIFFERENT STAGES AND SIBLINGS

You do not have to buy a separate guide for every child. All three editions are included for your household, so you can use the primary guide with one child and the secondary or GCSE guide with another. Keep the bundle to return to as your children move from Year 3 through to Year 11, choosing the guidance that fits their stage. Check current school and exam-board guidance as courses and rules can change.

THREE GUIDES, SO YOU CAN START WITH YOUR CHILD’S STAGE

Primary edition | Years 3 to 6

Practical help with instructions, reading, spelling, sentence writing, maths and simple science activities. Includes worked examples and words to use when your child gets stuck.

Secondary edition | Years 7 to 9

Help your child understand the task, explain their thinking and begin working with less prompting. Includes English, maths and science examples, revision support and tools for building a workable routine.

GCSE edition | Years 10 to 11

Make the workload more manageable with focused revision tasks, ways to check what your teenager remembers without notes, subject examples and support after mock results. Includes a screenshot-friendly “What to say” sheet, a completed planner example and reusable fillable tools.

MY APPROACH: GO BACKWARDS. TEACH IT BACK. ASK WHY.

When a topic is not making sense, another worksheet may not be the most useful next step. The GCSE guide shows how to revisit an earlier idea, ask your child to explain it back and explore why a method works.

USE THE GUIDES TO HELP YOU

• Find the point where your child gets stuck before adding more work.

• Give a useful prompt without taking over the whole question.

• Check understanding beyond a copied answer or finished page.

• Break homework and revision into specific, manageable tasks.

• Keep a record of what still needs help, so you can ask school a focused question.

Download all three PDF guides and use the edition that fits your child. Print the practical tools or use a supporting PDF viewer for the GCSE fillable worksheets. Clickable links in the guides take you to my store if you want further support.
