About the Roots Residency

The Roots Residency Program is a customized development experience at CrossFit Roots.

We offer 4-week residencies for coaching, general management, and all things in between and 1-week residencies for business development specific focuses.

The goal of each residency program is to aid and drive development for coaches and/or general managers by utilizing a real-world setting. While we believe in the necessity for academic excellence in CrossFit Education, nothing can replace the real-time experience and exposure needed to learn as a coach or general manager. CrossFit Roots - the affiliate, its members, and its staff - provides the perfect landscape for this effort. 

While at CrossFit Roots, you will be matched with 1-3 coaches and/or staff depending on your goals and development needs. You can expect the program to be challenging, educational, rewarding, and fun. 

This is a development-driven experience, meaning you will get a lot of feedback! For individuals looking to improve their coaching, each week will be a mixture of observation, co-coaching, lead coaching, review and discussion, study, and more. 

Are you an affiliate owner and you don't have time to bring a new GM up to speed? Send them to us! Each week will be a mixture of observation, a dive into the systems and strategies that create efficient and profitable business operations, hands-on participation, interaction with prospective members, review and discussion, and more. 

The cost of each 4-week residency program is $4,000. The 1-week business development residencies start at $1,500.
