I look for the evidence investors fund: who buys, how often, at what cost, and whether they come back. Where your data and your story disagree, investors believe the data.

Mechanism over Methodology. Every founder has a framework. Few can show the mechanism: the exact path from a need to a paying, returning customer. Who pays, who uses, who approves, how long it takes, and what the regulatory or reimbursement pathway demands. I diagnose the engine, not the vocabulary around it.

Track Record over Trend. Trends raise attention, not rounds. I judge your business against 25 years of what has actually built, funded and scaled companies in this sector, and against what your team has already delivered. What is, not what is noisy in this industry.
