What we cover
Live weekly lessons on Zoom with a teacher who knows the curriculum inside out. We do not just race through topics. I slow down on the parts that confuse students in big classes, the bits that get skipped, and the ideas that quietly cost marks in the exam.
Every class is built around what actually comes up: the concepts that appear in past papers, the questions examiners really ask, and the explanations that stick. We work through the specification in a sensible order, spend proper time on the tricky areas, and practise with real past paper questions so nothing in the exam feels unfamiliar.
How it works
Choose the class that matches your year and science level. You get a recurring Zoom link for the same day and time every week, so there is nothing new to log into and nothing to work out each time. Groups are kept small, which means real interaction, real questions, and proper support. Payment is a single recurring monthly amount, so you always know where you stand.

Pricing and term dates
Lessons follow the Lincolnshire school term dates. To keep things simple, the cost is averaged into a flat £120 per month, so you pay the same amount every month with no surprises in the busier terms.
In August, lessons switch to a mix of live and pre recorded masterclasses and workbooks. These are designed to beat the summer slump and let students keep ticking over around holidays and family plans, working through them whenever suits.
Why this works
Most students notice their understanding improving within the first few weeks. You get clear guidance on exactly what you need to know, lessons that build on each other instead of jumping around, and the space to ask questions without feeling rushed or put on the spot. By the time exams arrive, the content feels familiar and the nerves start to settle.
Who this is for
Any student who wants to feel more confident in science. Whether you need to shore up one shaky topic, build stronger foundations across the board, or push for the top grades, there is a class and a level for you.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a contract or minimum term? No. There is no contract and no lock in. It is a simple rolling monthly payment, and you are free to cancel whenever you need to. You are never tied in.
Do students have to have their cameras on? Not at all. Cameras are completely optional. Lots of students prefer to keep theirs off, especially at first, and that is absolutely fine. You can still type in the chat, unmute to ask a question, or simply listen and take everything in. The lesson works either way, and no one is ever put on the spot.
Which exam board do you follow? Lessons are built around the AQA specification, which I specialise in. If you sit a different board such as Edexcel, IGCSE or OCR, the core science is the same and the lessons are still genuinely useful, because the concepts and exam skills carry across. However it is not specifically tailored and the exam questions used are AQA.
What is the difference between Combined, Foundation and Triple? Combined Science covers biology, chemistry and physics and is worth two GCSEs. Triple Science covers the three subjects in more depth and gives a separate GCSE in each. Foundation Tier and Higher Tier are different versions of the same exams, aimed at different grade ranges. If you are not sure which your child is sitting, just ask and I will help you work it out.
How do I choose the right class? Pick the one that matches your child's year group and science level. If you are unsure, message me before signing up and I will recommend the best fit.
What if we miss a lesson? That is completely fine and there is no penalty. Your place is always kept for the following week, so a missed session never affects your spot. If you would like to catch up on what was covered, just message me.
How is payment taken? Payment is a recurring monthly amount of £120, taken automatically through Stan Store on the same date each month. Nothing to remember and nothing to set up again.
What happens in August? August will be a mix of live sessions and recorded sessions. They are designed to prevent the summer slump and let students keep their knowledge fresh while still enjoying the holidays.
What does my child need to join? A device with an internet connection, the free Zoom app, somewhere reasonably quiet, and ideally a pen and their usual revision notebook. That really is it.
Can we switch classes if the time stops working? Yes. If your child's schedule changes, or they move up a year group, just message me and we will move them to a class that fits.
Is this right for a student who has fallen behind, or one aiming for the top grades? Both. The small group format means I can support a student who needs to rebuild confidence and stretch a student aiming for grades 8 and 9, all within the same class.
