Your work is good. Your paperwork should look like it.

When you're starting out, the business side tends to live in a messy doc, an old email and your head. This kit gives you the eight documents a small service business needs, already laid out, so you can bill a client, agree on terms, pitch a project and run a meeting without building anything from scratch.

What you get

8 printable templates in one PDF, plus a how-to page, a contents page you can tap and a shop page.

  1. Business Plan One-Pager

Business name and industry, mission statement, target market, a products and services table (offering, price, target customer), revenue model, year 1 revenue goal and a key milestones table (milestone, target date, status).

  2. Professional Invoice

Invoice number, date and due date, your details and your client's (name, address, email, phone), 16 line items (description, qty, rate, amount), subtotal, tax, total due and payment terms.

  3. Service Contract (2 pages)

Parties, scope of work, a deliverables checklist, start and end dates, total fee, deposit and payment schedule. Page two has 10 standard terms already written (payment, late payment, revisions, changes to scope, client responsibilities, ownership, confidentiality, cancellation, independent contractor, entire agreement) with blanks for your own numbers, room for additional terms, and signature lines for you and your client.

Please note: the contract is a template, not legal advice. Laws differ by state and country, so have a qualified lawyer review it before you rely on it with clients. The same note is printed on both contract pages.

  4. Project Proposal

Client, project and date, project overview, objectives checklist, a scope of work table (phase, deliverable, timeline), an investment table with total, and next steps.

  5. Meeting Agenda

Meeting title, date, time and attendees, a 14-row agenda (time, topic, lead, notes) and a 14-row action items table (item, owner, due date).

  6. SOP Template (Standard Operating Procedure)

Process name, department, version and last updated, purpose, scope, 10 numbered procedure steps (action, responsible, notes), required tools and resources, and a review history.

  7. Business Budget

Budgeted, actual and difference for 13 categories (revenue, cost of goods sold, rent, utilities, software, marketing, insurance, payroll, supplies, travel, professional services, training, miscellaneous) plus 5 blank rows for your own, total expenses, net profit and notes.

  8. Elevator Pitch Worksheet

A fill-in pitch formula (I help, who struggle with, by providing, so they can), space for your full pitch, a 12-row practice log (date, audience, feedback, revision) and 30-second, 60-second and email versions.

Who it's for

Freelancers, consultants, coaches, side hustlers going full time and anyone opening a small service business who wants clean, consistent paperwork from the first client on.

How it works

  1. Download the PDF right after purchase.

  2. Print the pages you need on US Letter paper, or open the PDF on a tablet in any app that lets you write on PDFs.

  3. Fill it in. Print extra invoices, agendas and contracts whenever you need them.
