  • Cake structure and stacking: How to support and assemble your tiers for this design.

  • Deep, rich buttercream colors: Learn how to achieve a deep forest green finish, with tips for developing richer color without endlessly adding more food coloring. We’ll discuss color mixing, allowing your buttercream color to deepen, and troubleshooting shades that look too light or muddy.

  • The evergreen spiral: How to build, shape, and attach the greenery to create movement around your cake.

  • Ornament placement: How to secure and arrange ornaments for a balanced design.

  • Finishing details: How to bring the colors, textures, and decorations together.

  • Photos and videos: How to capture the finished design from different angles.

We’ll also review filling, crumb coating, and smoothing as part of the cake-building process, and wrap up with time for questions.
