Sacramento Extra Life and Galaxy Game Cafe are coming together to host an official CATAN Tournament.
Winning this local event will get you an entry to a Regional Preliminary. We will have 3 preliminary rounds and move directly to a 4-person Final Table following the Preliminary Rounds (unless player count exceeds 28 players at which point a semi-final round will take place before finals).
Tournament rules: https://catanevents.com/cnc-rules
The US CATAN National Championship will now become a 16-player tournament. This change goes into effect for the 2025-2026 season. Individual local qualifier winners are eligible to compete in their Regional Preliminary. Players qualify for the US CATAN National Championship by finishing in the top 4 at a Regional Preliminary.
ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be residents of the United States and be 18+ years of age by the date of CATAN Nationals. Winners of 2025-2026 season Qualifier Tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events leading up to the 2027 National Championship. Please contact Catan Studio at op@catanstudio.com if you have questions regarding these policies.
PLEASE NOTE: All event purchases are non-refundable. Store credit will be issued only if an event is cancelled or postponed.
PHOTOGRAPHY: We’ll be capturing some photos for social media! If you'd prefer not to be photographed, just let our staff know on-site.
