Growing up, I remember watching my mom come home from work, reach into one of her mystery jars (usually an old butter container, lol), and somehow turn the simplest ingredients into the most amazing meals.

I never knew exactly what was in those jars. I just knew whatever came out of them was GOOD!

I remember vividly sitting on the kitchen floor crushing garlic and oregano with a pilón whenever she needed to whip up some seasoning because the “jars” were empty. I didn’t realize then how much those little moments would stay with me.

As I got older, cooking became one of the ways I showed love, especially to my children. And although my relationship with food hasn’t always been easy, I learned that I didn’t have to give up the flavors I grew up loving. I could learn about ingredients, explore alternatives and create something of my own.

And thats how Punto De Sabor was born. A flavorful blend of fresh herbs and seasonings, inspired by my mother’s kitchen and made with love in mine.

I’ll be honest, bringing this dream to life scares me a little; But God has been teaching me that stewardship isn’t about having everything figured out. Sometimes obedience looks like starting with what He’s already placed in your hands and trusting Him with the rest.

I’m starting small, but I’m dreaming big. Who knows? One day you might walk into your neighborhood market and see Punto De Sabor on the shelf! 🥹

For now, I’m simply choosing to begin one jar at a time.
