This is a live, in-person walkthrough at the ASHP Midyear Residency Showcase in Orlando. Any Google Meet link in your booking confirmation can be ignored. I'll email you our meeting spot
Most candidates wander the Residency Showcase hall. They hover near booths, listen in on other people's questions, and leave with a brochure. They have no real read on the program, and the program has no real read on them.
This is a 10-minute, in-person walkthrough at a program booth you choose, with me beside you. I spent 10 years as a Residency Program Director. I know what RPDs notice in those few minutes at the booth, and what they forget.
What we focus on:
Positioning: introducing yourself so the program remembers what sets you apart
Focus questions: three questions I write for you, specific to that program
Who you're talking to: a current resident, a preceptor, or the RPD, and what to ask each one
Deciphering their answers: what their feedback and responses tell you about fit
The showcase is where you learn whether the program fits you and whether you fit the program.
How it works:
Book 1. Each walkthrough covers one program.
At least 48 hours before your slot, by Saturday, Dec 5, email me the program(s) you're visiting. I review each one and prepare your questions.
On Monday, Dec 7, between 1 and 4 PM ET, we meet at the showcase and walk it together.
Within 3 days, you get a debrief email with my feedback and your next steps.

Policies
Program deadline: Your program(s) must reach me by Saturday, Dec 5, Without them, I can't prepare your questions, and the walkthrough is forfeited.
Late arrival: Walkthroughs start and end on time. If you arrive late, your walkthrough still ends at its scheduled time. After 5 minutes, the slot is forfeited.
No-show: A missed walkthrough is not refunded or rescheduled.
Bookings are final: With only 2 walkthroughs available, all bookings are non-refundable.
