Teach Your Kids How to Pack
Packing for your kids is one of those things that feels faster to just do yourself… until you realize you’re doing it every single trip.
This resource helps you hand that responsibility over in a way that actually works.
Instead of just telling kids what to pack we are going to teach them the skills. This resource will teach YOU how to walk them through how to:
think about weather and activities
plan outfits
gather what they need
and double-check their choices
All in a way that matches how their brains actually work.
What’s included:
Detailed instructions to teach YOU (the adult) how to help teach THEM the skills
Fully Customizable Packing lists (multiple formats based on age and ability)
Ready-Print (no customization needed) lists
Visual checklists for younger kids (pre-readers)
Reusable packing pages (laminate + dry erase friendly)
Outfit cards to help kids check their work
Icon bank to customize your lists
How to use it:
You don’t have to use everything.
This is designed so you can:
guide younger kids step-by-step
or let older kids take full ownership
Pick what works, skip what doesn’t, and adjust based on your child.
Best for:
Ages 2+ (with support)
Ages 6+ (increasing independence)
