The Shadow Experience gives aspiring and working makeup artists the opportunity to step into my actual working environment and observe me while I work with real clients.
During your Shadow Experience, you’ll get an inside look at:
• How I prep and set up my station between clients
• How I assess different skin types, skin tones and facial features
• How I select and layer products based on the client in my chair
• My techniques and application process in real time
• How I create a polished, long-lasting soft glam
• How I work efficiently while staying on schedule
• How I communicate with and create an experience for my clients
• The products and tools I actually reach for during appointments
• How I photograph and capture content of my work
• The behind-the-scenes workflow of being a working makeup artist
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the experience when appropriate and learn the why behind what you’re seeing.
NB This is not a traditional makeup class. There is no model provided and you will not be performing makeup application. This experience is designed for you to observe, learn, ask questions at the end and see what working behind the chair actually looks like.
