The Art of Staying
Friday Evening – Sunday Afternoon | December 11, 12, and 13th 2026 Berrien Springs Michigan
There are times when healing asks us to change.
And there are times when the practice becomes learning how to stay.
To stay with ourselves when something feels uncomfortable.
To stay connected to our bodies when our minds are searching for answers.
To stay present in our relationships.
To stay with what we're feeling without immediately needing to fix it, explain it, or make it go away.
The Art of Staying is an intimate weekend retreat for women to step away from the pace and responsibilities of everyday life and create space to reconnect with themselves.
Not another weekend of trying to become a better version of yourself.
A weekend to practice being with the person who is already here.
Throughout our time together, we will weave the teachings and practices of Living From the Heart with movement, meditation, embodiment, ceremony, meaningful conversation, nourishing food, rest, and community.
There will be opportunities to explore and go inward—and there will also be space.
Space to sit by the fire.
Space to journal.
Space to take a walk.
Space to laugh.
Space to connect with other women.
Space to rest.
Space to simply be.
What We'll Explore
Throughout the weekend, we'll explore what happens when we begin noticing what is underneath our reactions rather than immediately acting from them.
We'll practice recognizing the difference between what happened, what we felt, the story we created around it, and what we actually know.
We'll explore our patterns in relationships, our nervous system responses, the ways we reach outside ourselves for certainty, and what it means to remain connected to ourselves in the middle of it all.
At the center of the weekend will be the STAY practice:
A practice of noticing.
Feeling.
Listening.
Allowing.
Returning.
Not perfectly.
But again and again.

Who Is This For?
You do not need to have attended one of my retreats before.
You do not need to be part of the Living From the Heart Fellowship.
And you certainly don't need to arrive having everything figured out.
This retreat is for women who are longing to slow down and reconnect.
Women who have done healing work and are wondering how to actually live what they've learned.
Women who want deeper connection—with themselves, with others, and with the lives they're already living.
And women who simply feel something inside saying:
I need some space.
You are welcome here.
