I've been using your budget spreadsheet this financial year. I've also been pretty good with money and have never budgeted, but after buying my unit last year and gaining a mortgage, I wanted to be a bit more aware of my habits. I have downloaded it twice. One is our weekly sheet with money that goes to our bills account, food, fuel, food out, alcohol etc. Then the bills sheet is all our bill categories education, house, cars, subscriptions, etc. I really like the recording - it really shows me were we over spent and what our biggest expenses are (kids education!).

Hi Lou! We had our second baby in January, and being on a single income with the current cost of living was really hurting our savings and dreams for the future. I knew something needed to change. I purchased your budget spreadsheet in the hopes of finding clarity, and boy, did I ever! It was therapeutic to list every expense, to see exactly where our funds were going, and how we could improve. We were hemorrhaging money at a rate we never had been, consistently in the negatives! That was 12 weeks ago. In the 6 pay cycles since then, we have managed to reduce our outgoings EVERY single fortnight, a little more every week. Our two most recent fortnight's were still big spenders because of unexpected bills (medical and vets), but our hard work paid of this fortnight when we managed to save money for the first time since I finished work last year! It was only $250. But I genuinely could have cried with happiness. Thankyou for making this spreadsheet so easily used and accessible 🥰

I have been using this spreadsheet for almost 6 months, I thought I had an idea of where my money was going but to be able to see exactly where it’s going and how much I’m spending has made my financial life so much less stressful. This spreadsheet has ruined my life… in the best kind of way. Being able to see and document every cent spent over the month has completely changed my partner and I relationship with money.
