NOV/DEC|9:30-11:30|Mahjong Essentials 101A & 101B
$200
Mahjong Essentials is a two-part beginner experience at MahjON Gorgeous designed to take you from learning the tiles to confidently playing the game in a relaxed, welcoming, and social setting.
In 101A Foundations, we'll explore the tiles, terminology, Charleston, and structure of the game so everything starts to make sense. We'll also do a little open-hand play so you can begin to see the rhythm and flow of Mahjong without pressure.
In 101B Let's Play, we build on that foundation and begin playing together with guidance and support. This is where it all starts to click, confidence grows, and strategy begins to emerge.
No experience is necessary. Whether you're brand new to Mahjong or have played casually for years and would like to better understand the game, many students find this experience helps deconstruct Mahjong and finally make sense of the "why" behind the play.
