Ever set a savings goal, moved the money over, then quietly transferred half of it back a week later?
Most of us aren't bad with money. We just don't have a clear picture of it.
This is the Google Sheet I built to fix that. I've used it to track every pound I spend and grow my investments past six figures.
Budget Planner: set your plan for the month. What's coming in, what's going out, what you're putting aside to save and invest. Use the pre-filled structure or create your own categories. Designed to be flexible.
Transactions: log what you spend. I do it monthly, but a minute a day or once a week works as well.
Dashboard : see how you did, where you money went, and how much you actually saved.
Built on my "Needs, Wants + Future You" framework, so you feel like you're controlling your finances, not punishing yourself. feels like part of the plan, not a punishment.
UK budgeting apps either don't sync properly or hide the maths behind a subscription. A sheet is boring, but it's yours, and you can see how it works if you want to get technical (although you don't need to be technical to use it. If you can type a number into a cell, you'll be fine).
