What is Inner Healing?

Inner healing is the process of allowing the Holy Spirit to bring restoration to wounded areas of your heart, mind, and spirit. It involves addressing past emotional pain, strongholds, and trauma, while releasing God’s healing and peace. During this time of prayer, we will invite the Holy Spirit to illuminate areas that need healing and to guide us in breaking free from any bondages or hindrances that may be holding you back from experiencing fullness of life in Christ.

Someone may recognize the need for inner healing prayer if they experience one or more of the following:

  1. Unresolved Emotional Pain: Persistent feelings of sadness, anger, fear, or grief from past events or relationships that have not been fully healed or dealt with.

  2. Patterns of Unhealthy Thinking: Negative or toxic thought patterns, such as constant self-criticism, shame, guilt, or feelings of inadequacy, that affect their self-worth and outlook on life.

  3. Repetitive Strongholds: Recurring cycles of unhealthy behaviors, addictions, or sins that seem difficult to break despite personal efforts, often tied to past wounds or trauma.

  4. Unforgiveness: Struggling with forgiving others or oneself, which may lead to bitterness, resentment, or holding on to grudges that hinder peace.

  5. Inability to Move Forward: Feeling stuck or unable to move past certain life events, such as a traumatic experience, a difficult relationship, or a loss, affecting personal growth or spiritual life.

  6. Spiritual Blockages: A sense of being distant from God, feeling disconnected from His love, or lacking spiritual peace, possibly due to unresolved emotional or spiritual wounds.

  7. Physical Symptoms: Physical manifestations of emotional pain, such as anxiety, chronic stress, or physical illness that may have emotional roots.

  8. Recurring Nightmares or Traumas: Repeated memories or flashbacks from traumatic experiences that resurface during sleep, daily life, or in certain situations.

  9. Difficulty Trusting: Struggling to trust others or God fully due to past betrayal, abuse, or hurt, which affects relationships.

Inner healing prayer can be especially helpful in addressing these areas by inviting God’s healing presence to restore the heart and mind, release past pain, and break emotional or spiritual strongholds. You agree to indemnify and hold the Company and each of its directors, officers employees, and agents, harmless from any and all liabilities, claims, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or relating to (i) your breach of this Agreement, (ii) any violation by you of law or the rights of any third party, (iii) any materials, information, works and/or other content of whatever nature or media that you post or share on or through the Site, (iv) your use of the Site or any services that the Company may provide via the Site, and (v) your conduct in connection with the Site or the services or with other users of the Site or the services. The Company reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense of any claim for which we are entitled to indemnification under this Section.
