The Low-Energy Classroom Training

The Low-Energy Classroom Training

$27$44

Manage behavior without draining yourself.

You're not a bad teacher. Your systems are missing.

If you're...

❌ repeating yourself ten times a day

❌ losing the room by third period

❌ driving home replaying the moment it fell apart

The problem was never your effort; it was the design underneath you. And design is fixable.

The Low-Energy Classroom is four short lessons, one for each kind of behavior that eats your day: the chaos, the noise, the power struggles, the flat-out refusal.

Each one gives you the lowest-energy move that actually works, so you stop spending your whole self by lunch.

Watch the lesson your classroom needs today. Use it tomorrow.

The 4 Lessons:

  • Kill the Chaos - the one decision that ends a thousand repeated ones. Build a system that runs without you hovering over it.

  • Kill the Noise - the three-question filter that tells you what to respond to and what to let go, so you stop treating a pencil tap like a crisis.

  • End Power Struggles - how to correct a student without matching their energy or turning it into a standoff.

  • Hold the Line - how to hold a boundary you don't need their permission to hold, and stop the refusals before they start.

Just over 60 minutes, broken into 4 short lessons you can knock out before your next class.

Plus, yours to keep:

  • A printable one-page desk card: diagnose the bucket, grab the tool, keep it next to you

  • A fill-in companion workbook, build your own scripts, not just watch someone else's

  • A reading list mapped to each bucket, for when you want to go deeper

No new rules to memorize. No sticker charts. No raising your voice. Just the design that makes calm automatic.

About Chris

I'm Chris Mukiibi, a high school chemistry teacher in Southern California, and founder of BrightStar Education. My first year nearly broke me. I wasn't just dealing with the blowups. I was exhausted every single day by the small stuff. The repeating myself. The redirecting. The bracing for the next interruption before the last one even landed.

I thought that was just what teaching was like, but it's not. It's a design problem.

Once I understood how stress and nervous systems actually drive behavior, I stopped managing the classroom minute by minute and started building systems that ran without me holding them up. The exhaustion dropped before the behavior did.

That change is what schools all over the country are now paying me to train on-site. This course is that same change, broken down so you can build it into your own classroom this week.

Amanda (elementary school teacher)

Today was such a great day! I was calm and moved slower, even after one of my students dropped 50 tiny balls on the floor when he was supposed to be doing classwork haha. I was so calm that the rest of the class barely noticed and kept working. You made a big difference in my teaching life 😀

"These strategies helped me facilitate the class today. The students were more manageable and less 'judgie' with each other and me. At the end of class, one student apologized for his silly behavior... You inspired me to reconsider my job search."

Micaela (middle school Spanish teacher)

"I put up the whiteboard for kids to write the Spanish words they want to find, instead of always asking me. That has been really working. That's something I will keep doing for the rest of my career."

Sean (high school art teacher)

"I tried out assigning ambassadors from each table for my demo this morning, and it worked really well. I could watch and hear those kids, and they were definitely explaining and teaching their table mates. I am definitely doing that now moving forward."

Rosie C (parenting reporter, TODAY.com)

"I absolutely love your advice to say 'The expectation is …' I tried it with my 8yo and had some success!"

"My co-teacher and I built signs for the classroom (including a Spanish pun for 'quiet') and it totally gets the class back. The kids get confused, they're curious, they think it's funny. Thank you for that idea. It's been really wonderful to try something like that out."

Meghan (secondary Humanities Dept Head)

"I used your system and it has been really helping calm myself and my class... It was a good reminder for me to slow it down and get back to building those relationships."

Sean (high school art teacher)

"The one thing I've been doing that has been really successful is building a system for cleaning up. Because I teach painting, and I always get stressed out by how kids don't clean up after themselves. Chris asked, 'Do your kids actually understand what you want?' I realized a lot of my students have never really cleaned anything in their lives. So I started showing them, this is how you clean up. I made it a routine. Now they're honestly really good with it. That has been very successful, and thank you for that."

Micaela (middle school Spanish teacher)

"I'm trying to do more of ‘oh, if we've done this routine enough, can I have one of them lead it now?’ They listen to each other better anyway, and it gives me a chance to take a break, and they love being in charge."
