/Year
A child's development at 22 months has been shown to predict academic outcomes at 26 years. The first 1,000 days are not a warm-up. They are the foundation everything else is built on.
Your baby room is where that foundation is laid — every day, in every interaction, in every small moment of care and play.
Oliiki Nurseries gives your setting the system, the training, and the tools to make every one of those moments count.
When practitioners understand why everyday moments matter - why a nappy change is game-changing when done right, why the way they speak during feeding shapes language development, why floor time is never just play - everything changes. They stop going through the motions and start working with intention. Their confidence grows, and it changes the feel of the whole room.
Inconsistent practice is one of the hardest things to fix in a baby room. When every member of the team shares the same language, the same understanding, and the same approach - regardless of when they are on duty, regardless of their experience level - the baby room becomes a different place. Calmer. More focused. More alive - more brain building!
Most nurseries struggle to get parents truly engaged. Oliiki gives you the structure, the sessions, and the tools to make it happen - so parents don't just receive information, they truly become part of the developmental journey. Families who understand what you're doing and why will trust you more deeply.
That trust builds your reputation in ways no marketing can.
When an Early Years Improvement Officer, an Ofsted inspector, or a prospective parent walks into your baby room, they'll notice the difference. They'll notice the decor, of course, but more importantly, they'll notice your educators can explain what they're doing and why and how that supports the children in their care.
That's quality teaching and learning in action.
Your first year is fully guided, week by week, so the approach embeds properly: across new staff, across shifts, across your whole team, across all your settings. Then it keeps going. Because Oliiki is an ongoing subscription, the support carries on month by month, so the practice doesn't just embed, it keeps deepening long after the basics are in place.
Oliiki Nurseries helps you build real, lasting change.

"I have never seen staff so enthralled with training. At the end of it they said, 'Louise, we learnt so much.' They were excited. They wanted to talk about it. And now when I visit the nurseries, the under-twos staff are talking to me about the training and what they're seeing with the children - and taking it into practice".
It's HUGE!"
— Louise Monange, Director of Nursery Operations, The Den Nursery Group
"Ofsted were very impressed. I love the added bonus of specific under-two training that comes with it. It ties in with the early years neuroscience beautifully."
— Tina Knight, Wells House Nursery
"Having Oliiki has been the biggest impact in informing practice. It was like a lightbulb moment for me!"
— Sam, Little Treacles Nursery

We already do training. How is this different?
That's actually a good sign, it means you already invest in your team. The thing most leaders tell us is that the training is good on the day, but it struggles to stick once everyone's back in the room. Practice drifts. Oliiki isn't another training day. It's a system that builds the understanding into daily practice, week by week, so it embeds instead of evaporating. It works alongside whatever you already do. It just makes it stick.
Is this only for the baby room?
The science is zero to two, because that's where the developmental foundations get laid. But the principles, the way you watch a child, the why behind what you do, going back to fill a gap before pushing on, apply just as much to a four-year-old as a four-month-old. Almost every setting we work with runs it across the whole team, not just the baby room. The baby room is where it starts. It's not where it stops.
How much time does it take? My team are already flat out.
That's exactly why it's built the way it is. There's no pulling staff out of the room and no big course to work through. It arrives as tiny steps, a weekly email telling you what to do with your team and your parents, small enough to fit into the week you already have. The learning happens in the room, during the moments that are already happening.
Is £850 really all of it?
Yes. £850 per EY number, per year, for your whole setting, every member of staff and every parent who wants the app included. That's £2.33 a day, less than a coffee, and you may be able to use EYPP funding towards it. Running more than one setting? Get in touch before you buy and we'll sort the right package for your group.
