I know that feeling. It's why I started.
MY STORY
I'm Raz, Braid Bar owner and Braid Educator in Hampshire, and I own Braid School.
This all started with my own daughter. Her hair looked a mess and I was worried about nits at school. So I booked myself into a braid lesson. I went on to launch Trenza Braid Bar in 2019, then Braid School, with one aim. To help parents.
Seven years later, I've braided 5000+ heads and taught 1000+ mums, dads and new braiders.
I created my own technique that makes braids last seven days, still neat and pretty for the full week. It's the reason my Braid Bar clients keep coming back. And now I teach it to dads like you.

That's a relaxed night out, my full teaching, and a skill you'll use every week. Think about how many stress free mornings and calm hair wash day's you'll get back.
2 hours, every Tuesday, 7pm to 9pm

Small group of 4-6, so you get real help.
QUESTIONS
What if I've never touched a hairbrush?
Perfect. I teach dads from absolute zero, step by step.
Will the styles last a?
That's the technique I created and teach. Styles that stay neat for the full day, when you style them my way.
What if she says it hurts?
I'll show you how to detangle and style gently, so it doesn't pull. It's one of the first things I teach.
Do I need to bring someone?
No. Bringing a mate is great, but lots of dads come on their own.
Do I need to bring my daughter?
No. We teach on styling heads
Does the lesson always go ahead?
It runs once we have 4 learners. If you can, tell another dad, so we reach 4 and your night is confirmed. I'll let you know as soon as we're there.
What if I'd prefer one to one?
No problem. Ask me about my solo lesson.

You can keep guessing your way through the morning. But it'll probably look wonky, she'll say it hurts, and she'll ask for Mum.
Or you can learn it properly, once, with me. So she loves her hair, it lasts a full day, and you get to be the dad who can do it.
