Host your own braid night. Bring your friends, and I'll bring the lesson.
A private group lesson with me, Raz, for you and your mums or dads. At your home, or at a venue I'll help you find. Everyone learns to Dutch braid, with braids that stay neat for a full week.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
You want to learn to braid. So do your friends.
You've all said it. "I can only do a ponytail." "She says it hurts." "She won't let me do her hair."
You've shared the same worries in the group chat. You've all ended up with loose braids that don't last.
And finding a night when everyone can make a public class is almost impossible.
So what if the lesson came to you?
MY STORY
I'm Raz, Braid Bar owner and Braid Educator in Hampshire, and I own Braid School.
This all started with my own daughter. Her hair looked a mess and I was worried about nits at school. So I booked myself into a braid lesson. I went on to launch Trenza Braid Bar in 2019, then Braid School, with one aim. To help parents.
Seven years later, I've braided 5000+ heads and taught 1000+ mums, dads and new braiders.
I created my own technique that makes braids last seven days, still neat and pretty for the full week. It's the reason my Braid Bar clients keep coming back. And now I teach it to parents, in rooms full of friends.
Because learning is better with your Mum or Dad friends.

Dutch Space Buns
The Alice Band
Half Up Dutch
Braid School for Dads
For dads who want to style their daughter's hair with confidence. You'll learn:

Ponytails that actually look neat
Easy 10 minute styles for busy mornings
The right products and tools
How to detangle gently
Either way, you'll also learn the Braid Bar secrets that make a braid last a full week.
WHY HOST?
It's a brilliant girls night, or a dads night.
Everyone learns together, so it's more fun and less awkward.
You pick the date, the time and the people.
You get the comfort of your own space, or a venue I'll help you find.
You all leave with a skill you'll use every week.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS
You'll leave as confident braiders.
No more "ouch, Mum" or "ouch, Dad." You'll learn to braid gently, so it doesn't pull or hurt.
They'll actually let you do their hair. They might even ask you to.
You'll save time, because one Sunday braid can last the whole week.
You'll skip the daily stress. No more morning meltdowns, no more hair battles before school.
And you'll feel proud on the school run when someone asks "who did her hair?" and you get to say "I did."
IS THIS FOR YOU?
This is for you if:
You have a friend group, a school WhatsApp group, or a dad group who'd all love this
You'd rather learn together than with strangers
You like being the one who gets everyone together
You'd love a fun night in, or a night out, that's actually useful
You want me to show you exactly what to do, step by step

QUESTIONS
Do I have to host at my house?
No. You can, and it's lovely and relaxed. Or I'll help you find a venue.
How many people do I need?
6 learners to go ahead. Don't worry if you're not sure you can fill it yet. Get in touch and we'll work it out.
What if I'm a complete beginner?
Perfect. Most people who come to me can only do a ponytail, or have never tried.
Will it really last a week?
That's the technique I created and teach. Braids that stay neat and pretty for the full week, when you braid them my way.
Can I mix mums and dads?
Yes absol
What if I'd prefer one to one?
No problem. Ask me about my solo lesson.
PS
You can keep sharing YouTube videos in the group chat and fudging your way through a braid. But it probably won't last the day, it might hurt, and they'll stop letting you near it.
Or you can get your people together, and learn it properly, once, with me. So it lasts a full week, it feels comfy, and they ask you to do it again.
Pick a date, send this to your group, and let's make it happen.
