Your Gym-based Strength Plan for Aerial Progress

Structured strength training for aerialists on pole, lyra, silks, hammock, and more!

Struggling to feel stronger in the air despite going to class regularly?

Your muscles fatigue too fast, your transitions feel shaky and unpolished, and your grip strength gives out before you can get tricks right.

You want to get stronger for aerial and pole, but have no idea what to do to get you there.

You're not alone!

You just need a program that actually trains you for what aerial demands

You might be making these mistakes:

āŒ You’re doing generic workouts that don’t target aerial-specific strength

āŒ You’re training too hard or not enough (ie. burnout OR plateau)

āŒ You’re unsure how to build strength without sacrificing recovery for aerial class

āŒ You’re watching others get stronger and wondering what you’re missing

THE TRUTH IS:

Most gym programs don't understand aerial.

And most aerialists don't have the time, energy or headspace to figure it out alone.

What You Actually Need:

āœ… A plan that complements your aerial training rather than competing with them

āœ… Grip and core strength that translates to real skills

āœ… Joint-friendly programming that doesn’t leave you wrecked

āœ… Short, effective workouts you can follow without overthinking

āœ… A way to train smarter, not just harder

WITH THIS PROGRAM, YOU'LL :

āš”ļøTrain smarter, not harder: This isn’t a random gym workout. Every session is strategically programmed to support your aerial work, not compete with it, so you get stronger while still recovering between classes.

āš”ļø Build real aerial strength: You’ll develop the kind of upper body, grip, and core strength that makes a real difference in the air. From dead hangs and suitcase carries to compression drills and aerial-specific finishers, every move has a purpose.

āš”ļø Never wonder what to do at the gym again: You’ll follow a clear, step-by-step plan tailored to how many days a week you can train. Just show up, press play, and check it off! No more second-guessing.

āš”ļøTrain with real gym tools that deliver results: This isn’t a bodyweight-only plan. You’ll be using strength equipment like dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, cables, and more to build serious aerial strength. Don’t worry! Every exercise is clearly explained, and you’ll learn exactly how to use each tool for your aerial goals.

āš”ļøFeel the difference in the air: Expect cleaner transitions, more control, and less fatigue. You’ll feel stronger, more confident, and more capable during class.

What's inside

āœ… A downloadable PDF training plan

āœ…Demo videos for every single exercise

āœ…Warm-up videos tailored to each training day

āœ…Aerial finisher drills for your grip + core

Requirements:

āš”ļøAs long as you train aerial or pole dance, this course is for you! The average person doing the Aerialist's Edge attends aerial or pole class 1-2 times a week.

āš”ļøYou should have access to a gym or home gym setup with basic equipment. If you don't have a home gym, check out the home version to this program here!

āš”ļøYou’ll need 1-3 days a week (depending on the program variation you choose), 45-60 minutes per session

(Note: If you can’t train that often, you can still follow the adjusted version at your own pace but it may take longer to see full results.)

But what if you’re nervous to try it because…

šŸ‹ļøā€ā™€ļø You’ve never strength trained before: That’s okay! This program was made with aerialists in mind, not powerlifters. You’ll learn how to use each piece of equipment safely and effectively, and I’ll guide you through every movement with clear cues. You don’t need to be a ā€œgym personā€ to benefit from this, just someone who wants to feel stronger in the air!

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ You’re worried you’re not strong enough yet: This program is literally designed to build that strength. You don’t need to be the strongest in class, you just need to show up! We’ll focus on the foundations (like grip, core, and pulling power), and with smart progressions and enough rest, you will get stronger.

🧠 You’ve tried other workouts before and didn’t feel a difference: This isn’t a random gym circuit. Every session is intentionally programmed to translate directly to your aerial skills. You’ll feel it in your transitions, your stamina, and how you hold yourself in the air.

😰 You’re afraid you’ll do it wrong: I’ve got you. Every exercise includes a video with clear cues, and the follow-along format means I’ll guide you through each step. You’re not doing this alone, I’m with you the whole way.

Here's What You Get:

I’m really enjoying this plan. I’ve been strength training for a few years now but I’m enjoying a refocus of movement. And I can tell it’s going to help my grip strength (which is quite low!) a lot!!!

The biggest takeaway so far is that I'm much more comfortable in the gym and that alone has improved my workout. The detailed breakdowns on how to to exercises and having a routine for my specific needs created for me was exactly what I needed. I'm excited to do the strength assessment again to measure my progress, and I'll definitely be using these workouts long term!

I did a cross back straddle for the first time today :) it's so satisfying to see myself get stronger and motivates me to keep putting effort into cross training!

It was really handy having last week's tracker sheet to look back on too, I adjusted my reps and weights a little to give me a more consistent challenge in each set. Loving the alignment cues in the videos! It's nice to be able to come back to them as a reminder :)

Loved doing this program! This helped me understand why certain exercises matter for aerial, not just what to do. Thanks taytay :)

Love how flexible the edge is! It feels realistic for someone who already trains a lot. No burnout. I still have energy to attend my classes every week and show off my strength gains haha

Yeah, if you're thinking about it, just get it. I waited for like 3 months and wish i started sooner. I was scared I wouldn’t stick with it but the structure made it way easier than I expected. And I got it during strong start, so the community helped a lot, even though I didn't share much publicly, I felt motivated :)

I’ve been trying to cross train at least once a week now for the past couple of months and I just now got an invert in the air with silks so I am very excited about the progress I am making! I am also *almost* to a full pullup with no jumping, which is something I never ever thought I would be able to do in my entire life. If it wasn’t for cross training in the gym outside of silks class, I don’t think I’d be getting this skill nearly as fast or be as confident in my strength! Cross training with my aerial classes helps me feel more in control and stronger to be able to do more things more effectively and gracefully, which I am very happy about :)

I kept opening the checkout page and closing it lol. I was worried it would be too advanced or too much. It ended up being really approachable and I didn’t feel wrecked after sessions. Love the tutorials, they're so helpful!

Great program. I was worried it would be too gym focused and not enough aerial. It’s very clearly made by someone who actually trains aerial!

This works. I didn’t suddenly get crazy strong overnight, but my body def feels more supported and my training feels easier. I think that's because I'm putting in the work with this program.

The Aeralist’s Edge is easy to follow and build into my schedule. It’s very helpful to have aerialist specific training info to make the most of my time in the gym.
