About Your Trainer & Coach

Hi, I’m Fatima Gatela, MBA, RN.

I'm an ICU RN-turned-Informatics Nurse with 15 years experience in Nursing Informatics and over 20 years in healthcare.

As an Informatics Nurse, I’ve worked on both sides of the hiring process: as an applicant breaking into this field with no master’s degree or certification, and later as a hiring manager who has led multiple teams and projects in top-ranked academic medical centers, and has extensive experience reviewing hundreds of resumes and interviewing applicants.

I created this program to give nurses the support and strategy I wish I had when I was starting out - a clear, practical path into Informatics and Health Tech that actually makes sense for busy, experienced nurses who are ready for something different or something more in their career.
