This two day intensive masterclass combines classroom based education with hands on practical training, designed to help you strengthen your understanding, refine your technique and elevate your work as a hairstylist.
With only 5 students per practical class, you’ll benefit from a focused learning environment with personalised guidance, individual feedback and the opportunity to ask questions throughout your training.

DAY 1: THEORY & CLASSROOM TRAINING
Day 1 focuses on building your technical knowledge and understanding before working on a live model.
Working through TheMarrettAcademy training manual, whiteboard teaching and guided demonstrations, you’ll cover:
Client preparation, consultation and health & safety
Braiding patterns, folding methods and track placement
Sectioning, layering and installation techniques
Heat safety and working with different hair textures
You’ll also practise key techniques on a mannequin head to strengthen your understanding and prepare for Day 2.

DAY 2: LIVE MODEL PRACTICAL TRAINING
Taking place in Chiswick, London, Day 2 gives you the opportunity to put your knowledge into practice.
Each student will have their own live model to work on, allowing you to complete your chosen sew in technique from start to finish.
With just 5 students per class, you’ll receive personalised guidance, hands on support and individual feedback throughout your practical training.
