A note from the creator, Christy Lowry.
The transition into parenthood is one of the biggest opportunities for growth in one's personal and professional life. As a RETAIN Certified Parental Leave Coach, I help parents navigate the transition into parenthood by building a strong foundation at the start, setting them up for success in both personal and professional areas.
Through my own journey of having 3 children and thus 3 parental leave experiences in a corporate setting, I have developed a journal meant to support you prior to & during the postpartum period while you are on leave from work.
I crafted this workbook out of the systems and routines I developed while I was on leave and navigating back to work that helped me the most with feeling valued, accomplished, and cared for. With becoming a parent comes significant change and shifts in our lives. If you are looking for something to calm your chaos, gain control, advocate for your needs, and feel accomplished not only as a new parent or parent-again, but as an individual, you are in the right place.
I hope this workbook is helpful for you during this time, and that you find yourself able to celebrate the good, get support where you need it and let go of what doesn't serve you. You are important, you are enough and you deserve to have a beautiful transition into parenthood.
