By accessing this website, purchasing a product or service, booking a session, or otherwise engaging with The Pattern Oracle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. ABOUT THE PATTERN ORACLE
The Pattern Oracle is operated by Michelle Thomas Newman (“The Pattern Oracle,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms apply to stan.store/ThePatternOracle and any related website, page, product, service, session, written report, digital resource, or other offering operated by The Pattern Oracle (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”).

2. NATURE OF SERVICES
The Pattern Oracle provides services that may incorporate strategic guidance, intuitive guidance, astrology, pattern recognition, personal reflection, psychoeducational observation, research, and other interpretive or advisory methods.
Depending upon the offering purchased, Services may include live guidance sessions, written readings or reports, educational resources, digital materials, intensive engagements, or other advisory services.
The Pattern Oracle does not provide licensed medical, mental-health, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other regulated professional services. Michelle Thomas Newman is not acting as a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, attorney, financial adviser, or other licensed professional through these Services.
The information and perspectives provided are intended for educational, informational, reflective, and personal-development purposes. They are not a substitute for appropriate professional care or advice.
You remain solely responsible for your own decisions, actions, interpretations, relationships, finances, health decisions, and other life choices. No particular result or outcome is promised or guaranteed.
3. ASTROLOGY, INTUITIVE & INTERPRETIVE SERVICES
Certain Services may incorporate astrology, intuitive perception, symbolic interpretation, synchronicity, pattern recognition, or other interpretive frameworks.
These methods are intended to provide perspective, reflection, and potential avenues for exploration. Interpretations are inherently subjective and should not be understood as statements of objective fact, guaranteed predictions, diagnoses, or instructions to take a particular action.
Birth information, personal history, photographs, questions, and other information supplied by you may affect the depth or specificity of a Service. You are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Where an exact birth time is unknown, The Pattern Oracle may provide a more limited interpretation or identify conclusions that cannot reliably be drawn from the available information.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
The Pattern Oracle is designed to support reflection and informed decision-making—not to replace your own judgment.
By purchasing or participating in a Service, you acknowledge that:
you retain full responsibility for how you interpret and use information provided;
you will not treat an interpretation as a guaranteed prediction or professional diagnosis;
you are responsible for seeking qualified professional assistance when appropriate; and
results will vary from person to person.
You should never delay or discontinue medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional care because of information received through The Pattern Oracle.
5. BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
All bookings are non-refundable except where otherwise expressly stated or required by applicable law.
If your purchase includes a scheduled live session, you are responsible for scheduling and attending that session at the agreed-upon time.
To cancel or reschedule a session, email patternoracle@icloud.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Please include your name and scheduled appointment date and time.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the appointment may result in forfeiture of the session.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice (“no-show”) will result in forfeiture of the session and payment.
The Pattern Oracle may, at its discretion, make reasonable exceptions in extraordinary circumstances.
If The Pattern Oracle must cancel or reschedule your session, you will be offered a replacement appointment or another appropriate remedy.
6. WRITTEN READINGS, REPORTS & DIGITAL SERVICES
Written readings, personalized reports, analyses, and other custom Services involve work performed specifically for the purchaser.
Once work on a personalized Service has begun, the purchase is non-refundable except where required by law.
Estimated delivery or turnaround times are provided in good faith but are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Digital products and downloadable materials are final sale once delivered or accessed, except where required by applicable law.
If a technical problem attributable to The Pattern Oracle prevents delivery of a purchased product or Service, The Pattern Oracle will make reasonable efforts to provide replacement delivery or another appropriate remedy.
7. PAYMENTS
You agree to pay all charges associated with products and Services you purchase.
You are responsible for providing a valid payment method and accurate billing information.
Prices may change at any time. Price changes, discounts, or promotional offers made after your purchase do not entitle you to a refund or price adjustment.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party platforms such as Stan and Stripe and may also be subject to those providers’ respective terms.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original Content—including written materials, reports, readings, videos, graphics, recordings, educational materials, methodologies, frameworks, terminology, processes, exercises, prompts, analyses, and other proprietary materials—are owned by or licensed to The Pattern Oracle and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
This includes proprietary methodologies and frameworks developed and used by The Pattern Oracle, whether publicly named or incorporated into a Service.
Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials you receive for your own personal purposes.
You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, teach, commercially exploit, publicly display, create derivative commercial products from, or represent The Pattern Oracle’s proprietary materials or methodologies as your own without prior written permission.
Purchasing a Service does not transfer ownership of the underlying methodology, framework, intellectual property, or proprietary process used to create it.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from discussing your own experience or using insights from your Service in your personal life.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY & CLIENT INFORMATION
The Pattern Oracle recognizes that clients may disclose personal, sensitive, or private information during sessions or through intake forms, correspondence, and other communications.
The Pattern Oracle will use reasonable care in handling such information and will not intentionally disclose personally identifying client information publicly without permission, except where disclosure is required by law, reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or safety, or necessary to operate the Services through appropriate third-party providers.
Anonymous, aggregated, or sufficiently de-identified observations may be used for internal research, methodological development, or educational purposes where the information cannot reasonably identify the client.
Any use of an identifiable client story, testimonial, recording, image, or case study for public-facing marketing, publication, teaching, or promotional purposes will require appropriate permission.
Clients may also receive information about The Pattern Oracle’s proprietary methods or unpublished research during an engagement. Such materials remain the intellectual property of The Pattern Oracle and may not be commercially reproduced or represented as the client’s original methodology.
10. RECORDING OF SESSIONS
You may not record, reproduce, livestream, publish, or distribute a private session without prior permission from The Pattern Oracle.
If The Pattern Oracle proposes recording a session for any purpose beyond providing that recording privately to you, your permission will be obtained beforehand.
11. ACCURACY & THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION
The Pattern Oracle makes reasonable efforts to provide thoughtful and accurate information but does not warrant that every piece of information, interpretation, calculation, third-party data point, or Site component will be error-free.
Certain Services may rely upon information supplied by clients or third-party tools, platforms, databases, ephemerides, software, websites, or other resources. The Pattern Oracle is not responsible for inaccuracies originating from information or systems outside its reasonable control.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Site may rely upon third-party providers for hosting, scheduling, payment processing, communications, video conferencing, analytics, or other functionality.
The Pattern Oracle is not responsible for outages, errors, security incidents, or service interruptions caused solely by independent third-party providers.
Your use of those services may also be governed by the providers’ own terms and privacy policies.
13. PRIVACY & ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
Your use of The Pattern Oracle Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, process, and protect personal information. The current Privacy Policy is available here.
By purchasing a Service or providing your contact information, you consent to receiving communications reasonably necessary to fulfill your purchase, including confirmations, scheduling information, delivery notices, and service-related correspondence.
Marketing communications, where applicable, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and available unsubscribe preferences.
While reasonable measures are used to protect information, no electronic communication or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
14. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site, Content, and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
The Pattern Oracle makes no guarantee regarding specific personal, relational, professional, financial, spiritual, or other outcomes resulting from use of the Site or Services.
No statement made during a Service should be interpreted as a guarantee regarding future events.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Pattern Oracle and Michelle Thomas Newman shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or reliance damages arising from your use of the Site, Content, or Services.
You acknowledge that you are responsible for evaluating information provided and determining whether and how to act upon it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pattern Oracle and Michelle Thomas Newman from claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, your infringement of another person’s rights, or materials you submit or distribute in connection with the Services.
17. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE SERVICE
The Pattern Oracle reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Services when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving harassment, abuse, threats, inappropriate conduct, repeated boundary violations, fraudulent activity, misuse of Services, or requests that fall outside the appropriate scope of the offering.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, any prepaid but unperformed Services will be addressed fairly based upon the circumstances and applicable law.
18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent legally permissible, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate state or federal courts in Oregon.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
The Pattern Oracle may update these Terms periodically as its products, Services, or business practices evolve.
The version in effect at the time of your purchase will generally govern that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Continued use of the Site following publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms as they relate to future use of the Site.
