By accessing, purchasing, enrolling in, or engaging with any offering from The Serpent Sage — a DBA of UR Wellness LLC, a Michigan registered limited liability company (“the Company”) — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use our services. Your use of the Site signifies your acceptance of these Terms and supersedes any prior agreements between you and the Company.
The Site and Content
The Serpent Sage operates digital properties including but not limited to theserpentsage.com and affiliated platforms (collectively the “Site”). The Site and all content made available through it — including but not limited to videos, course materials, training materials, digital products, text, graphics, HTML/CSS, Javascript, voice and sound recordings, artwork, photographs, documents, frameworks, and methodologies (collectively the “Content”) — are maintained for your personal use by UR Wellness LLC and are the property of the Company and/or its licensed third-party providers.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Site and Content solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. This license conveys no ownership rights of any kind.
Intellectual Property
All Content, frameworks, methodologies, brand assets, and proprietary systems created and published by The Serpent Sage are the exclusive intellectual property of UR Wellness LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Proprietary frameworks and systems expressly protected include:
• The Three Gates Framework (Gate I: Illumination, Gate II: Refinement, Gate III: Renewal)
• The Six Kingdoms
• The Logic Ceiling
• The Sovereign Prompt
• The de luto grief inventory concept
• The Serpent Sage Codex and all derivative works
• All course architectures, curriculum structures, and content sequences developed under The Serpent Sage brand
No Content may be:
• Copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form
• Used for public or commercial purposes without express written permission from the Company
• Modified, adapted, or used to create derivative works
• Taught, facilitated, or presented to others without a licensing agreement from UR Wellness LLC
• Downloaded or stored beyond personal use without express written consent
All trade names, trademarks, logos, and biographical information used in the Content are the property of, or used with permission by, the Company. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark or proprietary information without express written consent.
Unauthorized use of the Company’s intellectual property will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law and may result in monetary damages and penalties.
If you believe your intellectual property rights are being violated through the Site or Content, notify us at info@theserpentsage.com with your name and contact information, the nature of the work and how it is being violated, all relevant copyright and trademark registration information, and the location or URL of the alleged violation.
Educational and Ceremonial Disclaimer
All content, offerings, and services provided by The Serpent Sage are offered for educational, ceremonial, and informational purposes only. Nothing offered through The Serpent Sage constitutes medical advice, psychiatric treatment, psychological therapy, licensed counseling, or a substitute for any licensed healthcare or mental health service. The Company and its principals are not licensed medical or mental health practitioners. You are solely responsible for your own health and wellness decisions.
Venom and Serpent Medicine Content
All content related to venom alchemy, serpent medicine, and alchemized venom work is provided for educational and ceremonial purposes only. The Serpent Sage does not instruct, encourage, or facilitate self-administration of any substance. All references to venom work reflect ceremonially administered and alchemically prepared contexts only. Content referencing pharmaceutical research, peer-reviewed studies, or FDA records is presented for educational purposes and does not constitute medical claims, treatment recommendations, or regulatory guidance. Participation in any ceremonial offering requires execution of a separate Informed Consent Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Ifá Isese and Spiritual Services
Ifá Isese readings, divination services, and spiritual education are provided in a cultural, spiritual, and educational context and do not constitute licensed counseling, therapy, or mental health services. The Serpent Sage serves as a bridge and educational resource. Divination readings are conducted by a licensed Babalawo. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, decisions, or life events.
Death Doula Services
Death doula services offered through The Serpent Sage are educational, somatic, and supportive in nature and do not constitute medical, hospice, legal, or licensed mental health services. Clients with acute mental health conditions, active suicidal ideation, or acute grief requiring clinical intervention are encouraged to seek appropriate licensed professional support.
No Earnings Guarantee
The Company makes no warranties or representations regarding your success, income level, or earning potential from use of any course, program, or service. Your results are entirely dependent on your own products, ideas, execution, time investment, finances, knowledge, and skill. Since these factors differ among individuals, the Company cannot and does not warrant any specific outcome or income level.
Payments and Refunds
You agree to pay for all products and services purchased through the Company and to provide a valid payment method for timely payment of all fees. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. The Company does not provide price protection or refunds in the event of a price reduction or promotional offering.
All refund and cancellation terms are governed by the Company’s Refund Policy, incorporated herein by reference. For calls and consultations, cancellations must be submitted to info@theserpentsage.com with the subject line “CANCELLATION — [date and time]” within the window specified in the Refund Policy. No-shows and late cancellations forfeit the session without refund.
For payment plans, you authorize the Company to charge your payment method on the agreed schedule. You are responsible for ensuring payment information remains current. Failure to complete a payment plan does not entitle you to access to partially paid content or services.
User Submissions
If you send comments, suggestions, feedback, or any other submissions to the Company, such submissions shall become and remain the sole property of the Company. No submission shall be subject to any obligation of confidence. The Company shall exclusively own all rights to such submissions, including all intellectual property rights, and shall be entitled to unrestricted use, publication, and dissemination for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to you.
Account Access and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with your course or platform access. You may not share, transfer, gift, or sell access to any course, membership, or digital product to another person. The Company uses commercially reasonable efforts to restrict unauthorized access to its data and files. However, no system is entirely impenetrable. You acknowledge that unauthorized third-party access to your data is possible and that your use of the Site is entirely at your own risk.
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that participation in somatic, ceremonial, spiritual, and educational offerings carries inherent emotional, psychological, and physical risks. You assume full personal responsibility for your participation and any outcomes thereof. The Company and its principals are not liable for any adverse outcomes arising from your participation.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company and each of its directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, and expenses — including reasonable attorney’s fees — arising out of or relating to: (i) your breach of these Terms; (ii) any violation by you of any law or the rights of any third party; (iii) any materials, information, or content you post or share on or through the Site; (iv) your use of the Site or any services provided via the Site; or (v) your conduct in connection with the Site, its services, or other users. The Company reserves the right to assume exclusive defense of any claim for which it is entitled to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate fully in such defense.

Third-Party Providers
The Company is not responsible for the performance, availability, or terms of any third-party platform or service provider used in connection with our offerings, including but not limited to Stan Store, MailerLite, Stripe, PayPal, QuickBooks, Meta, TikTok, and Google. Any issues arising from third-party services are governed solely by the agreement between you and that provider.
Termination
The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site, any course, or any service at its sole discretion for violation of these Terms, abusive conduct, non-payment, or any behavior deemed harmful to the Company, its community, or its brand. The Company reserves the right to refuse access to anyone at its sole discretion. Termination for cause is non-refundable.
Electronic Communications
By registering with the Company or purchasing any product or service, you expressly consent to receive notices, announcements, agreements, disclosures, reports, and communications from the Company electronically via email. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan without regard to conflict of law principles. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Oakland County, Michigan before pursuing litigation.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be revised at any time by updating this posting. You are bound by any revisions and should periodically review the current Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
