Terms and Conditions for Enrollment/Participation

McMillan Family Foundation Financial Empowerment Academy or any Empower-"mint" classes/courses offered by the McMillan Family Foundation

Effective Date: June 10, 2025

By enrolling in the McMillan Family Foundation Financial Empowerment Academy ("Academy") or any Empower-"mint" classes/courses offered by the McMillan Family Foundation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with enrollment.

1. Eligibility

Enrollment is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

2. Program Participation

  • Participants are expected to engage respectfully and actively within the online group.

  • Access to course materials, group discussions, and live sessions is intended solely for registered participants.

  • The Foundation reserves the right to remove participants who engage in disruptive, inappropriate, or abusive behavior.

3. Use of Materials

  • All content provided (videos, documents, presentations, and other resources) is the intellectual property of the McMillan Family Foundation and is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce any content without express written permission.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • The Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information provided during registration will be used solely for program administration and communication.

  • Participants are expected to maintain the confidentiality of discussions within the group and respect the privacy of fellow members.

5. Disclaimer

  • The Academy or any Empower-"mint" classes/courses offered by the McMillan Family Foundation provides educational content and general financial information. It is not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or investment advice.

  • Participation does not guarantee specific financial results or outcomes.

6. Modifications and Cancellations

  • The McMillan Family Foundation reserves the right to update, change, or cancel the program, its content, or these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of significant changes via email or website updates.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Foundation is not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from your participation in the Academy or any Empower-"mint" classes/courses offered by the McMillan Family Foundation. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

8. No Refund Policy

Thank you for your generous support of the McMillan Family Foundation. We are committed to changing lives and creating hope through our programs, initiatives, and partnerships. All contributions, registrations, and payments received by the McMillan Family Foundation are final and non-refundable.

Policy Details

  1. Donations:
    All gifts, whether one-time or recurring, are considered final upon processing. The McMillan Family Foundation does not issue refunds for any donations.

  2. Event Registrations & Program Fees:
    Fees paid for events, conferences, training, materials, or other program participation are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, pre-registered tickets, admission fees, and workshop/program access.

  3. Exceptions:
    Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances unless explicitly stated in writing by the McMillan Family Foundation leadership prior to payment. Requests for exceptions must be submitted in writing and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Foundation.

  4. Transfers & Credits:
    While refunds are not offered, the Foundation may, at its sole discretion, allow the transfer of credits to a future event or program. Such transfers must be approved in writing and are not guaranteed.

  5. Third-Party Payments:
    Payments processed through third-party vendors or platforms on behalf of the Foundation are also considered final and subject to the same no-refund terms.

The McMillan Family Foundation is a nonprofit organization that commits financial resources in advance to support mission-focused programs, partnerships, and services. Final payment terms allow us to plan and allocate resources effectively so that we can deliver meaningful impact and honor our commitments to the communities we serve.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in the Academy or any Empower-"mint" classes/courses offered by the McMillan Family Foundation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

By completing a donation or payment, you acknowledge and agree to this No Refunds Policy.
