Dr. Whitley, DNP

You're not behind. You were taught backwards. Let's fix that.

Think Like A Nurse

Think Like A Nurse

$37$67.99

From a Double Board-Certified NP · 9 Years Bedside · 400+ Students Taught

Stop Memorizing Nursing.

Start Thinking Like One.

The 12-chapter eBook that gives you one clinical reasoning framework for every disease, every patient, and every exam question you'll ever face — including the ones you've never studied.

👉 Yes, I want the framework — $37

12 chapters · 20 must-know med-surg conditions for NCLEX · 200+ AI prompts · Printable worksheets · Instant PDF download

Built by a nurse who's been every level of student you are right now.

LPN → RN → NP. Nine years of bedside experience across ED, ICU, med-surg, and high-risk OB. Now a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, NP-C) who's taught clinical reasoning to over 500 nursing students.

I built the framework I wish someone had given me.

Here's the truth nobody tells you in nursing school:

You were taught WHAT to memorize. Nobody taught you HOW to think.

  • You study for hours but still freeze on application questions

  • You can recite drug cards but can't connect the drug to the disease to the patient

  • You can't explain why your patient's heart rate is climbing — you just know it's bad

  • You panic when NCLEX gives you a disease you've never studied before

  • You feel like you're drowning in content with no system to organize any of it

  • You pass the knowledge-level questions but the application questions destroy you

The problem isn't you. The problem is the method. You don't need more flashcards. You need a framework.

"I spent two years memorizing nursing school content and never actually understood WHY patients deteriorate. This ebook flipped everything. Professor Jennawè breaks down clinical reasoning in a way that made me feel like a light switch turned on. I catch things on my shifts now that I would've completely missed before. Worth every single dollar."

— Destiny M., Nursing Student

The Signature Framework

THE THINKING NURSE MAP™

One framework. Every disease. Every patient. Run any condition through this chain and you'll never freeze on a question again.

1. Patho → What's going wrong? 2. Symptoms → What will I see? 3. Assessment → What do I check? 4. Priority → What matters most? 5. Intervention → What do I do? 6. Evaluation → Did it work?

Heart failure? Run the map. DKA? Run the map. A disease you've never seen before? Run the map. The framework doesn't change — only the content does.

What's Inside

4 Parts. 12 Chapters. Zero Fluff.

Every major nursing content area — built around clinical reasoning, not memorization. Each chapter includes practice drills, AI prompts, and printable worksheets.

CH 09 — Community & Public Health Population vs individual care. Levels of prevention. Social determinants of health through a practical lens. Community assessment, disaster response, and public health roles.

CH 10 — Evidence-Based Practice What EBP actually is (and isn't). Tradition vs evidence — how to tell the difference. Levels of evidence in plain language. The EBP Drill: "Is this practice based on tradition or evidence?"

CH 11 — Leadership & Delegation Prioritization & time management on shift. Scope of practice & the 5 Rights of Delegation. Decision trees for the questions everyone gets wrong. Communicating up the chain of command.

The section on compensation vs decompensation literally made me cry because it's the thing I've been trying to understand for YEARS and nobody explained it this clearly. If you're bridging from LPN to RN, stop hesitating and just buy it."

— Simone, LPN-to-RN Bridge Student

Questions

Is this a textbook replacement? No — and it's not trying to be. This is the clinical reasoning layer your textbooks are missing. Use it alongside your program materials to actually understand what you're reading and connect the dots between disease, patient, and nursing action.

What level is this for? I'm an LPN / RN / NP student. All levels. The frameworks scale — an LPN student uses the same THINKING NURSE MAP™ that NP students use. The depth of your application grows with your level, but the framework stays the same.

Will this help with Next Gen NCLEX? Yes. The entire book is built around clinical judgment — exactly what NGN tests. Chapter 5 alone covers 20 high-yield med-surg conditions with NGN focus areas baked in. Every chapter includes practice scenarios designed around clinical reasoning, not recall.

What's included with the AI prompts? Over 200 copy-paste prompts organized by topic: fundamentals, patho, pharm, med-surg, OB, peds, mental health, leadership, and ethics. Plus custom scenario builders that turn ChatGPT or Claude into a nursing instructor who quizzes you and explains the reasoning.

What format is it? Digital PDF — instant download. Read it on your phone, tablet, or laptop. Print the worksheets. You get access immediately after purchase.

Is this evidence-based? Every chapter is backed by current 2021–2026 clinical guidelines and references — ADA, AHA, GINA, GOLD, Surviving Sepsis Campaign, KDIGO, ANA, and more. No outdated information.

Your classmates are memorizing.

You're about to start thinking.

One framework. Every disease. Every exam. Every clinical day after graduation.

This is how nurses think — and now you have the map.

Dear Professor Jennawe, I sincerely appreciate the depth and approach of thinklikeaprovider document. While it differs from the typical nursing content, its strategic focus has significantly shifted my thinking—from simply understanding the basics to truly analyzing and reasoning through disease processes. The material has been very enlightening, and the prompts have been especially helpful in reinforcing and solidifying what I have learned so far. Thank you for your commitment to helping nurses develop strong critical thinking skills.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

22. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Capital Covenant Enterprise LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your use of any Product or Service; (c) your User Content; (d) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (e) any wrongful chargeback or payment dispute initiated by you.

23. Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT REQUIRES INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION OF DISPUTES AND WAIVES YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR CLASS ACTION.

Except for claims for injunctive relief related to our Intellectual Property and except for small-claims matters within jurisdictional limits, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, our Products, or our Services (a “Dispute”) will be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator in Brevard County, Florida, or by remote/online proceeding at the arbitrator’s discretion. The arbitrator’s award is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver.

You and we agree that any Dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.

Opt-Out.

You may opt out of this Section 23 by sending written notice to info@capital-covenant.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” within thirty (30) days of your first purchase. Opt-out notices received after that period are not effective.

If this arbitration provision is found unenforceable for any reason, the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue described in Section 24.

24. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 23, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida for any Dispute not subject to arbitration, and you waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue based on inconvenient forum or any other ground.

25. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, government action, labor disruption, internet or platform outage, cyberattack, or failure of a third-party provider.

26. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed service contract for specific paid services (including custom GPT bot-building contracts), constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the subject matter and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings, written or oral. In the event of a conflict, a signed service contract controls over these Terms for the specific service it covers.

28. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or reorganization.

29. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new Effective Date, and material changes will be communicated by email or notice on our Services where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the Services or any Product after the Effective Date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The Terms in effect at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.
