We sacrifice a ridiculous amount of time, money, sleep, and sanity to have horses in our lives—but between the routine of drive to the barn, catch your horse, groom, tack up and ride, put them away, and repeat... are we actually having fun? Like, no pressure, true connection capital F FUN???

The Chicken Sh*t Amateur's Guide gives you 20 simple, realistic ways to enjoy your horse outside of the saddle, build a better connection, and stop defaulting to the same old routine.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Make groundwork feel less boring

  • Build trust, confidence, and communication

  • Learn how to use poles smarter, play with obstacles, teach tricks, go on adventures (safely), liberty basics, etc

  • Have meaningful barn time even when you don’t ride

  • Work with the setup, budget, and skills you already have to improve your bond with your horse

  • HAVE MORE FUN WITH YOUR HORSE (aside from riding)

Because you do not need a perfect setup, fancier equipment, or more confidence first to enjoy your time with your horse.

You need a few good ideas, a little bit of intentional time... and possibly a bucket of grain. ;)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: July 16, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of this website, its related pages, products, downloads, courses, audio materials, and other content offered by MULE MOUNTAIN MUSIC, doing business as Voiceovers & Ponies and/or Chicken Sh*t Amateur (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing this website, creating an account, purchasing a product, downloading materials, or otherwise using our content, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website or purchase our products.

1. PERSONAL USE LICENSE

All written content, digital guides, ebooks, audiobooks, videos, recordings, worksheets, graphics, photographs, course materials, downloads, branding, and other materials provided through the website or purchased from the Company are collectively referred to as the “Content.”

The Content is owned by the Company or used with permission from its respective owners.

When you purchase or access the Content, the Company grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use it for your own individual, noncommercial purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, upload, or distribute the Content;

  • Share your login, download link, ebook, audiobook, or course access with another person;

  • Sell, license, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the Content;

  • Post substantial portions of the Content online or on social media;

  • Modify the Content and present it as your own;

  • Use the Content to create a competing product, course, guide, membership, or training program;

  • Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or ownership notices; or

  • Use the Content for public instruction, clinics, paid training, or commercial services without written permission.

Each purchase is intended for one individual user unless the Company expressly states otherwise in writing.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Content, including text, activity descriptions, titles, written guidance, audio recordings, videos, graphics, photographs, logos, branding, designs, and downloadable materials, is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual-property laws.

No purchase transfers ownership of the Content or any intellectual-property rights to you.

“Voiceovers & Ponies,” “Chicken Sh*t Amateur,” associated product names, logos, slogans, graphics, and brand elements may be trademarks or proprietary property of the Company. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use them without prior written permission.

Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and legal action.

3. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY

The Content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

The Company is not acting as your:

  • Horse trainer;

  • Riding instructor;

  • Veterinarian;

  • Farrier;

  • Equine nutritionist;

  • Medical professional;

  • Safety professional; or

  • Legal or insurance adviser.

The Content does not replace personalized instruction, veterinary care, professional training, medical advice, or an evaluation of your horse, equipment, property, experience, or circumstances.

You remain responsible for deciding whether any activity is appropriate for you and your horse.

4. EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Working with horses is inherently dangerous. Horses are large, powerful, unpredictable animals capable of causing serious bodily injury, permanent disability, property damage, or death.

Risks may include, without limitation:

  • Being kicked, bitten, stepped on, struck, dragged, crushed, or knocked down;

  • Falling or being thrown;

  • A horse bolting, bucking, rearing, spooking, pulling away, refusing, or colliding with a person or object;

  • Equipment breaking, slipping, becoming tangled, or being used incorrectly;

  • Unsafe footing, fencing, poles, jumps, obstacles, vehicles, trailers, terrain, weather, animals, or other environmental conditions;

  • A participant, handler, helper, spectator, horse, or third party acting unpredictably;

  • A horse reacting differently than expected, even when an activity has been performed safely before; and

  • Injury resulting from a participant’s experience level, judgment, physical condition, actions, or failure to follow appropriate safety precautions.

By using the Content or attempting any activity discussed within it, you knowingly and voluntarily accept all risks associated with horses and equestrian activities.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Honestly evaluating your own knowledge, physical ability, experience, and confidence;

  • Evaluating your horse’s health, temperament, training, soundness, and suitability;

  • Using properly fitted and maintained equipment;

  • Choosing a safe environment with appropriate footing, fencing, space, and supervision;

  • Wearing appropriate safety equipment, including an equestrian helmet where appropriate;

  • Obtaining help from a qualified professional when needed;

  • Stopping an activity when you or your horse feel unsafe, confused, overwhelmed, fatigued, or unprepared; and

  • Seeking veterinary, medical, or emergency assistance when necessary.

Nothing in the Content guarantees that an activity is safe or appropriate for every horse or participant.

5. TENNESSEE EQUINE ACTIVITY WARNING

WARNING: Under Tennessee Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 44, Chapter 20.

Tennessee law specifies this warning language for certain signs and contracts used by equine professionals. Whether that statute applies to a particular digital product or situation depends on the facts and should be reviewed by Tennessee counsel.

6. SAFETY AND PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION

You should not attempt an activity merely because it appears in the Content.

Activities should be modified or skipped based on:

  • Your horse’s experience and temperament;

  • Your own ability and physical limitations;

  • Available facilities and equipment;

  • Weather and footing;

  • The presence or absence of qualified assistance; and

  • Any veterinary, medical, trainer, barn-owner, facility, or insurance restrictions.

Some activities may require direct supervision from a qualified horse professional.

Do not create makeshift equipment or use poles, jumps, obstacles, carts, vehicles, ropes, fencing, or other materials in a manner that could trap, entangle, impale, strike, or otherwise injure a horse or person.

Pole and jump-spacing measurements are general starting points only. Appropriate spacing varies based on a horse’s size, gait, stride, balance, speed, experience, terrain, and the specific exercise. Always adjust the setup for the individual horse.

7. MINORS

The Content is intended for adults.

A minor may use the Content only with the active permission, participation, and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian and, where appropriate, a qualified equine professional.

The parent or legal guardian is responsible for determining whether the Content and any associated activity are appropriate for the minor.

8. NO GUARANTEES

The Company does not guarantee any particular result from using the Content.

Your results will depend on factors including:

  • Your experience and judgment;

  • Your horse’s health, temperament, and prior training;

  • The frequency and quality of your practice;

  • Your facility and equipment;

  • Your ability to apply the information appropriately; and

  • Circumstances outside the Company’s control.

Testimonials, examples, stories, photographs, and demonstrations illustrate individual experiences only. They do not promise that you or your horse will achieve the same results.

9. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

The Company makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information. However, equestrian practices, professional recommendations, equipment standards, laws, and safety guidance may change.

The Company does not warrant that all Content is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every circumstance.

You are responsible for independently verifying information that is important to your safety, horse’s welfare, legal obligations, or financial decisions.

10. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current payment and billing information.

You authorize the Company and its third-party payment processor to charge the payment method submitted for the price shown at checkout, along with any applicable taxes or fees.

Prices may change at any time. The Company does not provide price protection or partial refunds if a product is later discounted or offered through a promotion.

You may not initiate a fraudulent chargeback or payment dispute for a product that was properly delivered or made accessible.

11. DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND REFUNDS

Because the Company’s products include immediately accessible digital materials, all digital-product sales are final and nonrefundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Refunds will not be issued because:

  • You changed your mind;

  • You did not use or complete the product;

  • You failed to download or access the product;

  • You expected different results;

  • You purchased the wrong product;

  • You lacked the equipment, horse, facility, time, or experience needed to use it; or

  • The product was later discounted.

If a technical problem caused by the Company prevents you from accessing a purchased product, contact [BUSINESS EMAIL]. The Company will make reasonable efforts to restore access, provide a replacement copy, or issue a refund when appropriate.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Tennessee prohibits unfair or deceptive practices in consumer transactions.

12. PRODUCT ACCESS

The Company may provide Content through its website or a third-party platform, including Stan, Stripe, email-delivery services, file-hosting services, podcast platforms, or course-hosting platforms.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining a compatible device and internet connection;

  • Using a current email address;

  • Checking spam and promotional folders;

  • Saving downloaded files in a secure location; and

  • Protecting your account credentials.

The Company does not guarantee that any particular third-party platform will remain available indefinitely.

Where reasonably necessary, the Company may change the delivery platform or method used to provide the Content.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The website and products may rely upon or link to third-party platforms, payment processors, websites, products, or services.

The Company does not control and is not responsible for:

  • Third-party outages;

  • Processing delays;

  • Security incidents;

  • Changes to third-party features or policies;

  • Third-party content;

  • Lost passwords;

  • Device incompatibility; or

  • Any third party’s acts or omissions.

Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy.

14. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to:

  • Use the website or Content for unlawful purposes;

  • Interfere with the website’s operation or security;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or files;

  • Upload malware or harmful code;

  • Scrape, harvest, or extract website data;

  • Impersonate another person;

  • Share false or misleading information;

  • Infringe the rights of the Company or another person; or

  • Use the Content in a manner that could reasonably create harm, confusion, or legal liability.

The Company may suspend or terminate access when it reasonably believes these Terms have been violated.

15. COMMENTS, REVIEWS, AND SUBMISSIONS

When you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, comment, photograph, video, suggestion, or other material to the Company, you retain ownership of your original material.

You grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, display, publish, and distribute the submission for business, promotional, and marketing purposes, unless you and the Company agree otherwise in writing.

The Company will not intentionally present a materially edited testimonial in a misleading manner.

Do not submit materials that you do not own or have permission to share.

16. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

By purchasing a product or creating an account, you consent to receive transactional communications relating to:

  • Your purchase;

  • Payment;

  • Access;

  • Product delivery;

  • Customer support;

  • Material updates; and

  • Changes affecting your account or purchase.

Marketing emails will be sent only as permitted by applicable law. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the link provided in the email.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent the Company from sending necessary transactional or legal notices.

17. PRIVACY

Your use of the website is also subject to the Company’s Privacy Policy.

The Company will handle personal information in accordance with its posted Privacy Policy and applicable law.

No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure. You acknowledge that information transmitted or stored electronically may be exposed through circumstances outside the Company’s reasonable control.

18. COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS

If you believe that material appearing on the website or in the Content infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact:

19. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, PRODUCTS, AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.

THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS;

  • ANY ACTIVITY WILL BE SAFE OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOU OR YOUR HORSE; OR

  • USE OF THE CONTENT WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THESE PROVISIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, RELIANCE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

THIS INCLUDES DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO:

  • LOSS OF DATA;

  • LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL;

  • WEBSITE OR PLATFORM INTERRUPTION;

  • THIRD-PARTY SERVICES;

  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS;

  • EQUIPMENT FAILURE; OR

  • INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE A PRODUCT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM A PRODUCT OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE COMPANY FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. RELEASE

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU RELEASE THE COMPANY AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND AGENTS FROM CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES DISCUSSED OR DEMONSTRATED IN THE CONTENT, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.

This release does not apply to liability that cannot legally be waived.

22. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from:

  • Share or redistribute the Content;

  • Engage in fraudulent conduct;

  • Abuse payment disputes or chargebacks;

  • Threaten the security or operation of the website; or

Termination does not eliminate payment obligations or provisions that logically survive termination, including intellectual-property, liability, indemnification, dispute, and governing-law provisions.

24. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any applicable consumer rights or jurisdictional requirements, any dispute arising from these Terms, the website, or the Content shall be brought in a state or federal court with lawful jurisdiction located in or serving Sumner County, Tennessee.

You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

25. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable or, if modification is not possible, severed.

The remaining provisions will remain in effect.

26. NO WAIVER

The Company’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

A waiver is effective only when made in writing by the Company.

27. ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Company’s written permission.

The Company may assign these Terms in connection with a sale, transfer, restructuring, merger, or change in ownership of the business or its assets.

The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or required by law.

Your continued use of the website after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Terms applicable to a completed purchase will not be materially changed retroactively where prohibited by law.
