I created this guide because driving is my biggest passion, and not all roads are created equal.

Ever since the day I turned 16 and immediately drove the highest paved road in North America, which is in this guide, I have been looking for the best driving roads in Colorado.

I became addicted to the feeling you get behind the wheel when your body and brain are working together without distraction. Complete flow state. My hands, my eyes, my feet and the liquid in my ears functioning as one. This doesn't happen on I-25.

I became so obsessed with this that I started spending hours on Google Earth looking for the next twisty road. Once I found a new road, I'd grab the keys to my 1992 3000GT VR4 and start driving.

It was an escape for me.

When you are going around hairpin turns, through tunnels, and up mountains, there's nothing else besides you, the car, and the road.

All my worries would melt away, and for the 2 hours I was behind the wheel, I was truly happy.

I've put this guide together for you to experience the same thing. These are the roads that will make you feel this way.
