The Three Nights of the Fates
For three evenings before Samhain, you will kneel at your altar before one sister each night, make your offerings, and tie three sacred knots, until you hold nine knots and the whole of your weaving so far.
The Witch’s Cauldron
You will brew a potion of dissolution with cinnamon, cloves, star anise, roses, and the hidden star at the heart of the apple.
Hecate’s Candle
You will inscribe and anoint a seven-day candle with the Thirteen Activations of your new year.
The Black Rose Bath
Surrounded by thirty-six roses, you will speak thirteen dissolutions and call thirteen creations into being.
The Great Unbinding
Just before midnight, while the veil is thinnest, you will jump the broom of the old year and burn it down to ash.
Hecate’s Key
At midnight, you will receive the key of your new year from the keeper of the crossroads.
