I've done Oktoberfest exactly once, with a nearly 3.5 year old who wanted to run everywhere, dance in every tent, and ride the same rides on repeat until we physically had to redirect her toward food.
One trip in, here's what actually matters when you're doing this with a little one. Not the postcard version. The real one, with a beer in your hand and a toddler on your hip with a band playing two feet away.
This isn't a "here's why Oktoberfest is amazing" guide. You already know that's why you're going. This is the stuff nobody tells you until you're standing in a tent with a kid, figuring it out yourself. And to be clear, we're not experts here, this is everything we learned from our very first Oktoberfest, mistakes and all.
