TERMS AND CONDITIONS & SERVICE AGREEMENT
1. General & Acceptance of Terms Welcome to Aurelia Pathways, Psychosis Recovery 101. By accessing this store, scheduling a session, or utilizing any services provided by Aurelia Pathways ("Company", "we", "us", operated by Aurelia), you ("Client", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not access or use our services.
2. Scope of Services & Peer Support Disclaimer
Non-Medical & Non-Clinical Nature: Peer support coaching provided by Aurelia Pathways is strictly educational, practical, and based on lived experience and professional peer support training. It does not constitute medical advice, psychiatric diagnosis, psychotherapy, or clinical healthcare.
Not a Substitute for Healthcare: Peer support is designed to complement, not replace, professional mental health care. You agree and acknowledge that Aurelia Pathways is not a licensed medical provider or psychiatrist. You remain solely responsible for your own health and agree to maintain standard care with a licensed local healthcare professional or psychiatrist while participating in peer support.
No Crisis Intervention / Emergency Services: Aurelia Pathways does not provide 24/7 crisis intervention services. If you are experiencing a severe mental health crisis, immediate distress, or thoughts of self-harm, you must immediately contact your local emergency services (such as 911 in North America or 112 in Europe) or a local crisis hotline.
3. Intellectual Property All content, materials, text, designs, and resources provided on this website or during sessions are the property of Aurelia Pathways and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.
4. Bookings, Payments & Cancellation Policy
Payments: You agree to pay all fees associated with the services purchased through Aurelia Pathways. All payments must be settled prior to the scheduled session.
Cancellation & Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, you must provide written notice via email at least 48 hours before your scheduled session time.
Forfeiture & Refunds: Failure to attend a session ("no-show") or requesting a cancellation/reschedule less than 48 hours in advance will result in the forfeiture of the session and fee. Due to the personal nature of live coaching services, all completed sales and sessions are non-refundable.
5. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aurelia Pathways and Aurelia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in peer support coaching, your reliance on provided information, or your use of this website. You assume full responsibility for your decisions, actions, personal well-being, and health outcomes.
6. Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aurelia Pathways and Aurelia from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the services provided.
7. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction This Agreement, and any dispute, claim, or legal action arising out of or relating to Aurelia Pathways, its services, or these Terms, shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. You irrevocably agree that the competent courts of the Netherlands shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this agreement.
8. Changes to Terms Aurelia Pathways reserves the right to revise and update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
