OBM & Staff Training Unrestricted Hours

This download includes 10 detailed, real-world supervision activities aligned with the BACB Task List (6th Edition). This is ideal for gaining unrestricted hours in a flexible way, while developing critical skills for staff training and development. Total Approximate Hours: 30 Fieldwork Hours

Each activity is designed for solo completion. Topics include ethical decision-making, data analysis, OBM, supervision systems, and building staff training materials.

Sample Activity

• Activity #1: BCBA student designs a simple reinforcement system to boost RBT on-time data submissions (e.g., a point system that earns Friday coffee, a sticker chart in the breakroom, or weekly shoutouts on the whiteboard). BCBA students must describe the behavior targeted, the reinforcement schedule, and how they’ll fade it. BCBA students can also write a staff implementation guide for the reinforcement system.

• Objective: Understand the role of reinforcement beyond clients.

• Example: “RBTs earn 1 token per day for submitting session notes by 6 PM. Five tokens = $5 coffee card.

• Reinforcer reevaluated weekly. Schedule: FR1 for the first 2 weeks, then FR2.”

• Estimated Supervision Time: 3 hours

• Supervision Tip: Use this opportunity to compare client reinforcement systems with OBM strategies.
