Ten days living in Ormea, a 1,000-year-old village in the mountains of Piedmont, Italy, with a small group of families who want their kids to learn from the world, not just visit it.
May 8 to 17, 2027
This is not a tour. Every part of it is built with the people who live here.
What happened last October

Martina, a young chef trained at one of Italy’s most respected culinary schools, and Anna, who has made pasta her whole life, taught our kids to make fresh pasta. The kids said it was their favourite part.
Giorgia ran art workshops for our kids and the town’s kids together at her lab, IppoCreativo, all in Italian.
On day one, the mayor and the nonni joined us for a welcome dinner at the Scuola Forestale.

We picked chestnuts in the forest and roasted them by the river.
Everyone got new Italian words every day. By the end, even the two-year-olds were using them.

Every group is shaped around the families who come, so the details change. What stays the same: you live in the village, your kids learn alongside the town’s kids, and the money stays with the people who host you.
