If you're hosting this year, I'm guessing most of Thanksgiving is living in your head right now, along with a vague memory that somebody said they'd bring rolls. That works fine until Wednesday night, when you find out you're out of butter and you start doing oven math with a turkey in one hand.
I made this planner so I could decide everything once and stop carrying it around. You plan the menu and write down who's bringing what, and then the grocery list is sorted by store section so you can get it all in one trip. The cooking timeline starts a week before Thursday and walks you right up to the moment you serve, which means the oven schedule is settled long before anyone rings the doorbell. There's also a guest list for RSVPs and dietary needs, a budget page, a recipe page for the dish everyone asks you about, and a notes page you fill out on Friday so next year you'll know how much food you actually needed.
What's inside:
A meal planner with a column for who's bringing what
A grocery list sorted by store section, with an "already have" column
A cooking timeline that runs from one week out to serving time
A guest list with RSVPs, dietary needs, and a final headcount
A budget sheet with planned and actual columns
A recipe page and a "Notes for Next Year" page
US Letter and A4 PDFs, plus a low-ink version with a white background
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26. If you print this tonight, the planning can happen this week instead of at 11pm on Wednesday.
