Student AI Assessment

Student AI Assessment

$99$249

Use AI for school without losing ownership of your work.

AI can be an incredible learning tool — but students also have to navigate academic-integrity rules, unreliable AI-generated information, privacy concerns, citations, and even hidden instructions inside documents that can influence how an AI system responds.

The NextPhase Student AI Assessment is a personalized review designed to help high school, college, graduate, homeschool, and continuing-education students understand how to use AI responsibly, appropriately, and with greater confidence.

Using the proprietary NextPhase AI Shield™ Assessment Framework, your assessment evaluates your specific academic situation, intended AI use, assignment requirements, and any supporting materials you choose to provide.

You receive an AI Trust Score™ from 0–100, along with clear guidance showing what you're doing well, where risks may exist, and what you should adjust before using AI for the academic activity being reviewed.

Your assessment evaluates:

  • Academic Policy Alignment & Integrity — Does your planned AI use align with the assignment, instructor, or school requirements provided?

  • Purpose & Appropriate AI Assistance — Is AI helping you learn, or beginning to replace work you're expected to complete yourself?

  • Student Ownership & Critical Thinking — Are you still responsible for the reasoning, analysis, decisions, and final work?

  • Research, Sources & Citation Reliability — Are AI-generated claims, sources, quotations, and citations being independently verified?

  • Privacy & Data Protection — Are unnecessary student identifiers or sensitive information being shared with AI?

  • Verification & Final Review — Do you have a process for checking AI-assisted work before submitting it?

  • Student AI Safety Screen™ — When academic materials are submitted, they are also screened for suspicious AI-facing instructions, prompt-injection indicators, conflicting embedded instructions, and related AI-use safety concerns.

Student AI Safety Screen™ Language

More than an academic-integrity check.

Your Student AI Assessment includes the Student AI Safety Screen™ when you submit academic materials such as assignment instructions, rubrics, policies, research materials, or other supporting documents.

The screen looks for indicators such as:

  • Suspicious embedded AI instructions

  • Prompt-injection indicators

  • Instructions attempting to override legitimate assignment requirements

  • Instructions telling an AI system to conceal information

  • Instructions attempting to misrepresent academic policy

  • Instructions attempting to generate prohibited academic work

  • Relevant privacy and document-use concerns

Your assessment may report one of four findings:

No Material Prompt-Injection Indicators Identified
Potential Prompt-Injection Indicator Identified
Material Prompt-Injection Indicator Identified
Unable to Fully Assess

The Student AI Safety Screen™ is included in your Student AI Assessment and does not require a separate Document Safety Assessment.

What You'll Receive

Your personalized assessment includes:

  • AI Trust Score™ — 0 to 100

  • Student AI Readiness determination

  • Academic Policy Status, when applicable materials are provided

  • Student AI Safety Screen™ result

  • Key strengths and responsible-use practices

  • Academic-integrity and AI-use concerns

  • Privacy and personal-data considerations

  • Professionally prepared NextPhase AI Shield™ assessment report

Who This Is For

This assessment is appropriate for students who use or are considering AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grammarly, Canva AI, or other generative-AI tools for:

brainstorming, studying, concept explanations, outlines, research support, writing review, presentations, source verification, citation support, or general academic assistance.

Parents or guardians may also purchase the assessment for a student.

Important Academic Boundary

The Student AI Assessment is designed to support responsible learning and AI use.

It does not complete graded assignments for students, help students conceal unauthorized AI use, circumvent instructor requirements, or guarantee that a specific instructor or institution will approve AI use.

When an instructor or school policy is material to the assessment, NextPhase evaluates the requirements actually provided for review and does not invent or assume academic policy.

By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms & Conditions, including the Assessment Services Terms.

These Assessment Services Terms supplement the general Terms and Conditions applicable to this Store and website. If an assessment-specific provision below conflicts with a general provision solely as it relates to an Assessment Service, the assessment-specific provision will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. Nature and Scope of Assessment Services

2. NextPhase AI Shield™ Framework

Assessment Services may be performed using the proprietary NextPhase AI Shield™ Assessment Framework, applicable scoring rubrics, internal analysis procedures, and professional review processes.

Scores and classifications represent an assessment of the information and materials available within the scope reviewed. They do not represent a guarantee that all risks have been identified or eliminated.

3. AI-Assisted Analysis and Human Review

NextPhase AI Consulting may use artificial intelligence and other technology-assisted tools to support document analysis, scoring calculations, identification of potential concerns, drafting, and report preparation.

AI-generated or AI-assisted analysis is not treated as an autonomous final determination.

Completed customer assessments remain subject to human review by NextPhase AI Consulting before delivery.

The customer acknowledges that AI systems can produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected outputs and that human review is an integral part of the NextPhase assessment process.

4. Customer Information and Supporting Materials

The customer is responsible for providing information that is accurate and complete to the best of the customer’s knowledge.

The customer represents and warrants that the customer:

  • owns the submitted materials or has the authority and permission necessary to submit them for review;

  • has the legal right to authorize NextPhase to access and review the submitted materials;

  • will not knowingly submit stolen, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized confidential information; and

  • will remove or redact sensitive information that is not reasonably necessary for the assessment.

NextPhase may request clarification, corrected files, additional information, or replacement documents when submitted information is incomplete, contradictory, unreadable, inaccessible, corrupted, or insufficient for meaningful review.

5. Sensitive and Confidential Information

Customers should not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the purchased assessment.

Before uploading materials, customers should remove or redact unnecessary:

  • Social Security numbers;

  • financial account or payment-card information;

  • passwords and login credentials;

  • API keys or access tokens;

  • student identification numbers;

  • protected health information;

  • government identification numbers;

  • highly sensitive employee or customer records; and

  • other confidential, regulated, or private information not needed for the assessment.

NextPhase uses reasonable administrative and technical practices in handling submitted information; however, no electronic transmission, cloud-storage system, email system, or online platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Customers should maintain their own original copies of all submitted files.

6. Third-Party Platforms

Assessment Services may use third-party platforms for purchasing, intake, document submission, storage, communication, or related processing, including platforms such as Stan Store, Google Forms, Google Drive, and email service providers.

Use of those platforms may also be subject to the respective platform provider’s terms and privacy practices.

NextPhase does not control the availability, security architecture, or independent operation of third-party platforms.

7. Assessment Timeline and Delivery

Any stated assessment timeline begins only after:

  1. the customer’s purchase has been verified;

  2. the required intake information has been completed;

  3. all materials necessary for the purchased assessment have been received; and

  4. submitted files are readable and accessible.

Incomplete intake information, missing documents, inaccessible files, conflicting information, or requests for clarification may delay completion.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, delivery dates or turnaround periods are estimates rather than guarantees.

Completed assessments will ordinarily be delivered to the email address associated with the customer’s purchase unless an approved alternate delivery email was supplied during intake.

8. Source File Retention

Submitted source files may be retained in NextPhase’s active assessment files for up to 30 calendar days after delivery of the completed assessment report and may then be deleted.

Customers are responsible for maintaining their own copies of all source materials.

NextPhase may retain transaction records, the final assessment report, administrative records, and other records reasonably necessary for legitimate business, accounting, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

9. Student AI Assessment Terms

The Student AI Assessment is designed to support responsible learning and appropriate AI use.

It does not:

  • complete graded assignments for students;

  • authorize AI use on behalf of a school or instructor;

  • determine disciplinary outcomes;

  • guarantee that an assignment will be accepted;

  • guarantee a grade;

  • guarantee compliance with a school or instructor policy; or

  • replace instructions issued by a school, instructor, institution, or academic program.

Where academic-policy alignment is evaluated, NextPhase relies on the policies, instructions, rubrics, or other academic requirements actually provided for review.

If the applicable policy was not provided or cannot be verified, the assessment may identify the policy status as Not Verified.

The student and/or purchaser remains responsible for confirming and following all applicable academic requirements.

Student AI Safety Screen™

When academic materials are submitted as part of an eligible Student AI Assessment, the assessment may include the Student AI Safety Screen™, which evaluates the submitted material for observable prompt-injection indicators, suspicious AI-facing instructions, conflicting embedded instructions, relevant privacy concerns, and related AI-use safety conditions.

The Student AI Safety Screen™ does not certify that submitted material is “prompt-injection free,” completely safe, or free from all hidden or malicious content.

Its findings are limited to the information and material available within the scope reviewed.

10. Minors and Parent/Guardian Authorization

The Student AI Assessment is intended for students age 13 and older. For students under 18, the purchase, submission of materials, and authorization for review must be completed by a parent or legal guardian or with appropriate parent or guardian authorization. NextPhase AI Consulting does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Student AI Assessment.

11. AI Document Safety Assessment Terms

The AI Document Safety Assessment evaluates observable AI-readiness conditions within the submitted material, which may include:

  • prompt-injection and hidden-instruction indicators;

  • sensitive or confidential-data concerns;

  • AI-upload suitability;

  • document integrity and context concerns; and

  • recommended human safeguards.

The assessment is not:

  • antivirus scanning;

  • malware analysis;

  • penetration testing;

  • forensic cybersecurity analysis;

  • a formal privacy audit;

  • legal review;

  • regulatory certification; or

  • cybersecurity certification.

A finding that no material concern was identified does not guarantee that a document is completely safe, free from malicious content, or appropriate for every AI platform or environment.

12. Business AI Assessment Terms

The Business AI Assessment provides AI-readiness, workflow, governance, operational, and opportunity analysis based on the organization information and materials provided.

Business recommendations do not guarantee:

  • revenue growth;

  • cost savings;

  • return on investment;

  • automation feasibility;

  • software compatibility;

  • regulatory compliance;

  • employee adoption; or

  • successful implementation.

Recommendations involving APIs, software integrations, permissions, security architecture, regulated information, or technical development may require separate validation, implementation work, or consultation with qualified technical, legal, cybersecurity, accounting, or other professional advisors.

13. Professional Boundaries and No Professional Certification

Assessment Services are provided for educational, business-advisory, and decision-support purposes.

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, NextPhase AI Consulting does not provide through these assessments:

  • legal advice;

  • regulatory approval;

  • cybersecurity certification;

  • privacy certification;

  • accounting or tax advice;

  • financial advice;

  • academic-integrity certification;

  • institutional approval; or

  • guarantees concerning the behavior, privacy, security, accuracy, or availability of third-party AI platforms.

Customers should consult appropriately licensed or qualified professionals where legal, regulatory, cybersecurity, financial, medical, or other specialized professional advice is required.

14. Customer Decision Responsibility

The assessment provides findings and recommendations to assist the customer in making informed decisions.

The customer remains responsible for:

  • deciding whether and how to use an AI platform;

  • deciding whether to upload a particular document;

  • complying with school, workplace, contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements;

  • verifying AI-generated information;

  • independently checking important facts and citations;

  • implementing recommended safeguards; and

  • obtaining specialized professional advice when necessary.

15. Refunds and Personalized Assessment Work

Assessment Services are customized professional services prepared for an individual customer or organization.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable product listing or Store refund policy:

  • a customer may contact NextPhase regarding cancellation before substantive assessment work has begun;

  • once substantive review, scoring, document analysis, or personalized report preparation has begun, the assessment fee is generally non-refundable; and

  • completed and delivered personalized assessment services are non-refundable except where NextPhase determines that a refund is appropriate or applicable law requires one.

If NextPhase is unable to provide the purchased Assessment Service, NextPhase may issue a refund or other appropriate resolution.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights or lawful billing-dispute rights.

16. Corrections, New Information, and Reassessment

Customers should promptly notify NextPhase if a delivered report appears to contain a factual or clerical error.

New documents, revised assignments, changed policies, changed AI use, revised workflows, newly discovered information, or material changes occurring after the original assessment may require a new or supplemental assessment and may be subject to an additional fee.

An original assessment reflects the circumstances and evidence available at the time it was completed.

17. Proprietary Materials and Intellectual Property

The customer retains ownership of customer-owned materials submitted for assessment.

The customer grants NextPhase a limited right to access, review, analyze, and process those materials solely as reasonably necessary to perform the purchased service.

The following remain proprietary to NextPhase AI Consulting and/or ENVNO1 LLC:

  • NextPhase AI Shield™ Assessment Framework;

  • AI Trust Score™ methodology;

  • Student AI Safety Screen™ methodology;

  • assessment scoring rubrics;

  • assessment structures and processes;

  • report designs and templates;

  • proprietary instructions and workflows;

  • training materials;

  • branded terminology; and

  • other original NextPhase methodology and intellectual property.

Customers may use their completed assessment report for their own personal, educational, professional, or internal organizational purposes and may share it with relevant parents, instructors, advisors, employees, leadership, or professional advisors.

Customers may not resell, rebrand, copy for commercial use, reverse engineer, reproduce as a competing assessment product, or commercially distribute NextPhase proprietary methodology without written permission.

18. Right to Decline or Discontinue an Assessment

NextPhase reserves the right to decline, pause, or discontinue an Assessment Service when reasonably necessary, including where:

  • requested activity appears unlawful;

  • the customer lacks authority to submit the materials;

  • materials contain prohibited or unlawfully obtained information;

  • required information is repeatedly unavailable;

  • the requested work falls materially outside the purchased service;

  • continued performance would create an unreasonable security, legal, ethical, or operational concern; or

  • the customer engages in abusive, fraudulent, threatening, or deceptive conduct.

Where appropriate, NextPhase will communicate available next steps or any applicable refund determination.

19. Limitation of Assessment Findings

Assessment findings are based on the scope, evidence, information, and technology reasonably available at the time of review.

AI systems, platform policies, software features, institutional policies, security threats, and other conditions can change over time.

A completed assessment should not be treated as a permanent determination that future AI use will remain appropriate or unchanged.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NextPhase AI Consulting and ENVNO1 LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the customer’s use of, reliance upon, implementation of, or failure to implement an Assessment Service or its recommendations.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability arising directly from a particular Assessment Service will not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for that Assessment Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

21. Acceptance

By purchasing an Assessment Service, completing the secure intake process, submitting materials, or requesting that NextPhase begin assessment work, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to these Assessment Services Terms together with the Store’s general Terms and Conditions and applicable Privacy Policy.

Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Iredell County, North Carolina.

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.
