Janice Hallett is back, and Lower Lockwood is about to get very messy…
Preorder: The Silent Appeal by Janice Hallett
A new play. Another murder. Who will speak the truth?
It’s a new theatrical season in Lower Lockwood and the Fairway Players are rehearsing Agatha Christie’s The Hollow. With divisive new arrivals, petty jealousies and a near-fatal lighting rig accident, the production is already high drama. Then the real tragedy happens off-script.
Someone is not going to make it to opening night. But who is the victim, and why does the person convicted refuse to speak in their own defence?
Lawyers Charlotte and Femi return to follow a digital trail of emails, texts and police reports in Hallett’s brilliant epistolary style.
