You know your child is capable. You also know something is no longer clicking.
Fourth through seventh grade can bring a noticeable shift in your homeschool.
The work becomes more complex. Your child is expected to retain more, work with greater independence, and use foundational skills in new ways. A curriculum that once seemed manageable may suddenly feel frustrating, slow, or ineffective.
You may be wondering:
Is this curriculum still a good fit for my child?
Are we dealing with a missing foundational skill?
Is the pace too fast—or too slow?
Is my child making progress that I simply cannot see?
Should I change the curriculum, add tutoring, or adjust how we are using what we already have?
You may not need to purchase another program. You may need someone to look carefully at what is already happening and help you understand what it is showing you.
The Homeschool Learning Bridge helps you understand what appears to be working, what may need attention, and what to prioritize before making another educational decision.
What We Will Look At
I will review the materials you are currently using alongside your child’s goals, recent work, available progress evidence, and current learning schedule.
The purpose is to help you see:
What appears to be working
What may no longer fit
Where your child may need more support
What information is missing or difficult to interpret
What you should prioritize before moving forward
This is not about labeling your child or judging your homeschool. It is about helping you make a thoughtful decision based on the child in front of you.
This Is for You If…
You are homeschooling a child in grades 4–7 and:
Your child completes lessons but does not appear to retain the information.
Reading, writing, or mathematics has become increasingly difficult.
Lessons take much longer than expected.
Your child needs more assistance than the curriculum appears to anticipate.
Your child has begun resisting or avoiding a particular subject.
You cannot tell whether meaningful progress is happening.
You are considering changing curriculum but do not want to make another uncertain purchase.
You want to understand what your child’s work is showing you before adding tutoring or more resources.
You need clear priorities instead of another collection of general suggestions.

How clearly goals, assignments, and progress are being documented
