NABL ACCREDITATION FOR FOOD TESTING LABORATORIES

This handbook is written from the author's own working experience of setting up and handholding food testing laboratories through NABL accreditation, and of aligning the same quality system with FSSAI, APEDA, Spice Board and Export Inspection Council recognition. It is meant to be used as a working companion by the Quality Manager, Technical Manager and testing staff of a laboratory that is preparing for accreditation, and not as a substitute for the actual text of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the NABL specific criteria documents, or the regulations of the concerned authorities, all of which must be read in their latest issued version.
