A steel mace and mobility challenge for women 40+
Stay strong and energized through the holidays, and start the new year already strong.
Your goals don’t have to wait for January 1. Get a head start this December and carry your momentum into the new year.
Dec 7 – Jan 6 · Live kickoff + 4 live coaching sessions on Zoom + short practice videos · $30 (that’s $1 a day)
Is this you?
This challenge is for two kinds of women.
You’re already active.
You have something you love to do, whether that’s on the trail, the course, or the court, and you want to keep doing it for a long, long time. But lately you've noticed:
Your hips feel tight after the things you love
Your shoulder complains when you reach overhead
A little voice asks whether it’s time to scale back
Or you’re ready to get stronger.
You want to feel athletic and capable, and maybe there’s something new you’d love to try, like a long hike or your first race. But:
The usual gym routine doesn’t hold your interest
You’re not sure where to start
You want to build strength without getting hurt
Either way, you’re in the right place, and you don’t need any steel mace experience. We’ll start with how to hold it, how to stand, and how to train safely from day one.
Then the holidays hit.
You’re hosting, traveling, and showing up for everyone you love. Your routine disappears, and come January you feel like you’re starting over.
This year, it doesn’t have to go that way. Short daily practice plus one live session a week, with replays if you can’t make it live and a built-in flex week for Christmas. No gym needed. You’ll take care of everyone else this season. This is how you take care of yourself, too.
Slowing down isn’t the answer.
Women over 40 hear it all the time: go lighter, be careful, take it easy.
But consistent strength and mobility are what keep you doing what you love.
Most gym workouts move you in straight lines: push, pull, up, down. Real life doesn’t. You twist to look behind you. You haul a suitcase out of the trunk and swing it onto the curb. You carry the groceries in one hand and reach across the table with the other. You swing a racket or a club. All of that takes rotation, grip, and shoulders you can rely on.
That’s where the steel mace comes in. All the weight sits at one end, so your grip, shoulders, and core have to work together to control it. You’re training the same twisting, reaching, and swinging your life already asks of you. You’ll feel it on the court, on the trail, and in the kitchen.

In 30 days, you’ll have:
A stronger grip and shoulders you can trust overhead
Hips that move more freely, on the trail, on the court, or just through your day
More control when you twist, swing, or turn
More energy to carry you through the holidays
A short routine you can keep doing long after the challenge ends
Real confidence with the steel mace

In every live session, we’ll mix:
Steel mace fundamentals: how to hold it, how to stand, and how to train safely
Two-handed and single-handed movements for grip, shoulders, and core control
Swings and flows that build rotational power and keep things fun
Mobility work to keep your hips, back, and shoulders moving freely
Every move connects to something you do in real life.

Questions
I’ve never used a steel mace. Is this for me?
Yes. We start with how to hold it and how to stand, and every movement builds from there.
I don’t own a mace yet.
Your welcome email includes the mace weight quiz and retailer links, so you can order early and have it before we start.
I’m already training for an event. Will this conflict?
No. This complements your training. The practice videos are short and focus on the strength and mobility that support what you already do.
What if I miss a live session?
Every session is recorded. Watch the replay when it suits you.
How much time does it take? Each practice video is 10–20 minutes, plus a one-hour live session each week, or the replay.
Isn’t the holiday season a bad time to start?
It’s the best time. You’ll keep your strength while everyone else waits for January.
I have an injury or a cranky joint.
Check with your healthcare provider first, especially if it’s recent or still painful. Then bring your questions to the Telegram group and I’ll help you modify.
