Postnatal Training Guide
Suitable from when your GP has signed you off to exercise.

When I had my baby I assumed that since I didn’t have any abdominal separation (after fighting my gp to check) that I could just go straight back into my full training and core plan with no problems whatsoever and no need to modify anything.

When my baby turned 1 I was still struggling with pelvic floor issues (despite doing alllllllll the kegals), I had lower back pain whenever I weighted my squats and I couldn’t plank, not even for 10 seconds (embarrassing when you’re at the front teaching the ab class)

That’s why I’ve developed my Revive plan. It has 3 phases lasting 4 weeks each - but you move onto the next phase when you're ready. Gentle enough for your postnatal body, but specifically designed to get you working optimally and without injury.

The Phases:
Restore – Reminds your brain that your core exists and you need to engage it whenever you move. (If you do have any ab separation, this is the phase I keep you in until we’ve closed it, but EVERYONE starts here). Training in this phase is daily, but it starts at just 12 minutes and never goes on longer than 30.

Rebuild – Now you can engage your core, we can branch out into other areas whilst ensuring we keep that mind to muscle connection. This is the phase where engaging your core becomes automatic again.

Reignite – Now that you can engage your muscles without really having to think about it, this is where the fun begins. Full body workouts to prep the rest of your body for whatever activities you are eager to get back to.
